With the development of signal modulation technology in the communication field becoming more and more mature,different types of communication signals have been applied in various scenarios,and the research on signal simulators that can generate various modulation types is increasingly extensive.This paper studies the principles of signal generation from traditional signal sources and related technologies and implementation methods of software-side accelerated calculations.For traditional signal sources,the signal generation is single,the signal configuration is not flexible,the equipment only supports offline use,and the signal calculation needs to rely on expensive high A new type of solution was proposed for the performance hardware problem.The solution is implemented using a heterogeneous platform based on CPU+FPGA,and the signal generation part is mainly completed in the CPU.Under the function of supporting 2 kinds of commonly used analog modulation and 9 kinds of commonly used digital modulation methods,it takes advantage of the friendly human-computer interaction of the software side,realizes the flexible configuration of signals,and supports the configuration of signal parameters through the Ethernet Socket package,and Up to 4 kinds of signal aliasing and delay setting of different signals and parameter modification during operation.In view of the weakness of CPU chip software computing power compared with high-performance hardware,this article accelerates and optimizes the signal calculation method on the software side,using the MKL mathematical acceleration library and the use of C language multithreading to generate parallel packages.Realize the accelerated generation of software end signal.This article gives speed measurement and theoretical analysis in each part of the accelerated calculation.The calculation efficiency is increased by about 40% compared with ordinary calculation methods.In order to achieve high-speed transmission of signal data,this paper studies the implementation of WDF drive for PCIe transmission,and optimizes the basic serial transmission method to achieve parallel interaction during transmission,and at the same time for different modulation signal transmission Data and configuration information realize effective communication between CPU and PCIe devices.After testing,the transmission efficiency of the driver is increased by about 35% compared to serial mode,reaching 1886MB/s,which meets the real-time requirements of signal transmission.Finally,this paper builds a test platform,uses oscilloscope,spectrum analyzer,and MATLAB to plot and analyze all the functions of the signal simulator implemented in this paper and the correctness of signal generation.
