Research On The Development Law Of Library And Information Archives In My Country From The Perspective Of Organizational Ecology

With the progress of the century and the development of science and technology,the needs and requirements of the state and society for information are also rising,which is both an opportunity and a challenge for the discipline of library,information and archives.The opportunity lies in the effective application of the specialty and value of the discipline;the challenge lies in the impact and change of the new technology and new cognition on the traditional library,information and archives discipline: the phenomenon of revoking the secondary discipline of library,information and archives,changing the name of the discipline,setting up big data and other popular majors in colleges and universities makes the development of the discipline become the focus of the library,information and archives academia.How to break through the encirclement,show the value of the discipline and adapt to the needs of the times has become a major event related to the fundamental interests of the library,information and archives discipline.Through a detailed reading of domestic and foreign research on the development of library,information and archives discipline,it is found that there are two problems in the current research: First,at this stage,the research on the development of library,information and archives discipline pays more attention to the macro level and overall development,such as professional development scale,teaching staff,student training,and so on.There are few studies on the development characteristics of departments,scientific research institutions,libraries and so on.As the foothold and focus of the development of library,information and archives,the internal organization of the discipline will have an important impact on the development of library,information and archives.Secondly,previous studies mainly focused on the subject education,research results and subject evaluation of library,information and archives,to explore its impact on the development of library,information and archives,and paid more attention to the impact of environment on the development of the subject.However,whether the discipline development conforms to the trend of environmental development has not been solved in the existing research.As an academic organization,the internal organization of library,information and archives discipline has the ecological characteristics of competition and cooperation,adaptation and development.In order to better explore the relationship between the internal organization development and the environment of library,information and archives discipline from the perspective of ecology,and explore the development law of library,information and archives discipline,this paper introduces the theory of organizational ecology,based on the level of organizational population,analyzes the change of research content and the development quality level of library,information and archives discipline,and explores the relationship between the two and the academic environment of library,information and archives.In order to understand the overall development level of the discipline,the Ministry of education has carried out the degree evaluation work.Since 2002,it has completed four evaluations,and the evaluation results have been widely recognized by all walks of life.Therefore,this paper takes the library and Information Department of the University as the research object.According to the time of four discipline evaluation,the research cycle is divided,and the literature data of each university and environment in different cycles are obtained through Cnki,Wanfang,Vip and other platforms.The co-occurrence analysis of literature keywords is carried out by using cite space software,and then the changes of discipline research content and the development of discipline quality are visualized by using matlab software.The research found that: the higher the similarity with the environmental development trend,the faster the university discipline research content updates,the higher the level of discipline quality development,and the higher the discipline ranking;the lower the similarity with the environmental development trend,the slower the university discipline research content updates,or the low level of discipline quality development,and the discipline ranking is not prominent.In this regard,the author puts forward some suggestions: colleges and universities with low environmental similarity should try more new research topics,contents and methods,so that the discipline can obtain rapid development opportunities;colleges and universities with high environmental similarity can do more in-depth and detailed research in the existing research field,so as to make the discipline research more targeted and professional,so as to make the discipline achieve higher saturation and higher development level.
