Research On The Function Of New Media Matrix Of Six SCI Journals Of Biological Sciences At Home And Abroad

The advent of the digital era has greatly changed the way of information dissemination and access.With the increasing number of network users,traditional media began to integrate with all kinds of new media.As a carrier of high-quality academic information dissemination,the integration of academic journals with Microblog,We Chat,Twitter,Facebook and other new media has greatly changed the dissemination mode of academic information.The content of life science academic journals is closely related to people's life.They began to integrate with new media earlier.The new media matrix of journals has begun to take shape and its operation is mature.It is an excellent research object to explore the function construction of new media matrix of academic journals,this paper takes the articles published on Twitter,Facebook and official websites by the editors from Cell,Nature,Science,Cell Research,Molecular Plant and National Science Review,which are six famous academic journals indexed by SCI,as the research objects,combining qualitative research with quantitative research.The research draws on the previous research experience on Functional theory of Journals and Frame Theory to constructs a research category.It studies the new media matrix functions of different academic journals at home and abroad.By comparing the differences of the function construction of new media matrix between Chinese and foreign academic journals,the existing problems of domestic journals are found and optimization suggestions are put forward.It is found that there is still a gap in the construction of new media matrix between domestic and foreign journals.In terms of the function of the journal matrix,the new media platform focuses on the reading guidance of articles,and pays attention to the storage and dissemination of academic information of academic journals.At the same time,the audience response degree of news analogies on the new media platform of the academic journals and of tweets from experts and scholars is high.The new media platform of the journals attaches importance to the reports of academic conferences and forums,and plays the functions of education,guidance and think tank.At present,there are two linkage modes of academic journals.One is the vertical linkage mode of "official website-new media platform" and the other is the horizontal linkage mode of "our journal-other journals".The vertical matrix linkage attaches importance to the communication and storage functions of journals,while the horizontal linkage mode attaches importance to the guidance and education functions of journals.Through the comparison of the new media matrix construction of domestic and foreign academic journals,it is found that the focus of the function construction of the matrix of Chinese and foreign academic journals is slightly different.There are still some problems in Chinese journals,such as new media matrix construction procrastination,the insufficient influence of the official account of the new media platform,the single form of the new media platform's tweet and so on.Therefore,the author puts forward: firstly,we should make use of the communication characteristics of new media platform to develop the basic functions of academic journals according to local conditions;Secondly,we should pay attention to the convenience construction of various platforms,add online paper submission,search,convenient window of "new media platform-official website" and other services,and give full play to the social function of journals;Finally,we should innovate the linkage mode of academic journals from multiple perspectives,promote the further dissemination of subject knowledge,accumulate academic resources for journals,and help the construction of journal think tanks.
