The rapid growth in technology changes the attitude and behavior of consumers? lifestyles.Electronic payment(e-payment)is gradually becoming part of daily life in Thailand. The majority of people now use e-payment instead of cash.In 2018,QR code payment is the technology used as part of the National Roadmap Strategy moving to a cashless society through the collaboration between the Bank of Thailand and payment service providers.E-payment developed out of consumer desire for a comfortable life, but statistics from Thailand show that the majority of consumers still prefer cash.In the meantime, ecological problems have increasingly become a major problem for humans.E-payment has so far been part of the environmentally friendly product and QR Code may be one of the most environmentally neural means of payment compared with other method. For sustainable development that will have an impact on the environment in the future. The widespread adoption of QR codes payments will therefore benefit many sectors. There have been numerous studies on consumer behavior in the field of products and services or even on electronic payment transactions with regard to environmental concerns. However,no research that delved into the QR Code in a willingness of environmentally friendly payment in Thailand. This study therefore takes environmental concerns into an independent variable to study behavior intention on the use of QR Code payment with a combination of a unified theory of the acceptance and use of Technology 2(UTAUT2)and the perceived risk.In total,400 Thai citizens were recruited to complete an online questionnaire.Data were analyzed statistically and multiple linear regressions were utilized for hypothesis testing by SPSS software. Results revealed that effort expectancy, habits, price value, and environmental concerns significantly affected consumers? acceptance of QR code payment in Thailand, while social influence significantly mediated the relationship between environmental concerns and consumers? acceptance.Managerial implications were discussed and suggestions about the implementation strategy to government agencies, banks, service providers, and related organizations for developing the system to stimulate an acceptance of QR Code payment as well as e-Payment.
