In the era of rapid development of computer technology, networked control systems have been widely used due to their ease of maintenance and ease of expansion. However, with the introduction of networks,time-driven networked control systems have brought tremendous load to communications. In order to reduce the network load,an event-driven network control system has been proposed. This paper analyzes the event-driven networked control system with packet loss, and finds that under the given packet loss model, designing the event-driven mechanism and controller is one of the most difficult problems to be solved. Therefore, this paper proposes two different control methods according to packet-loss model.Based on the premise of the maximum allowable continuous packet loss,we design an event-driven networked predictive control method,on the one hand to compensate for packet loss, and on the other hand to reduce the network communication rate.Giving the average packet-loss rate,a new event-driven mechanism is designed, and a controller is designed to reduce the network communication rate while ensuring system performance. Finally, using MATLAB to simulate the two methods proposed in this paper,in order to better verify the feasibility of the algorithm, build a motor platform to verify the two control methods, simulation results and experimental results show that the two methods proposed in this paper can guarantee system performance and reduce the network communication rate.
