Software Defined Networking(SDN)takes control and forwarding separation as the design principle,separates the control plane and data plane in the network forwarding equipment,uses logical centralized control in the control plane,and proposes that the control plane is programmable,which is extremely Improved the flexibility and efficiency of network control,but the current SDN control plane still faces serious scalability problems.At the same time,in the field of SDN network simulation,the most important thing is to simulate real business scenarios and actions in simulation experiments,but the current SDN simulation schemes commonly used in the industry cannot take into account the isolation of simulation nodes and the performance of simulation systems.In order to solve the problems of existing solutions,this paper has carried out detailed research on container virtualization technology and SDN control plane architecture,designed and developed a container-based distributed SDN simulation platform,and proposed a container-based distributed control plane architecture.First of all,this paper designs and implements a container-based distributed SDN simulation platform to solve the problem of isolation and performance in the existing simulation system solutions.First,the SDN device nodes are encapsulated through Docker container technology,and the isolation between SDN device nodes is realized by using the isolation of the container,and then the management network and data network in the simulation system are designed and implemented respectively.The management network is realized by the Overlay network realized by VXLAN technology,and the data network is realized by VXLAN technology and VETH technology.Using this simulation platform,researchers can realize the simulation of SDN data plane network topology by controlling the creation and destruction of links in the data network,and this simulation platform supports custom SDN device node models and custom topologies.At the same time,the distributed architecture enables the platform to support the simulation of large-scale SDN network topologies.Secondly,for the SDN control plane architecture,this paper designs a clustered distributed control plane architecture based on a typical two-layer hierarchical domain-based architecture.This paper takes the typical two-layer hierarchical domain-based architecture as a basic logical control unit,and combines multiple super-controllers in the hierarchical domain-based architecture into a cluster to achieve the improvement of control plane control capabilities.In response to the needs of super controller clusters and domain controllers,this paper designs and implements corresponding functional modules,such as the cluster management module,cluster storage module and cross-domain business processing module in the super controller cluster,and the topology management module of the domain controller,intra-domain business processing module and inter-domain business processing module.At the same time,the use of container technology to encapsulate the corresponding functional modules and controllers in containers to run,not only can improve the resource utilization of the simulation system,but also improve the scalability of the control plane.Finally,this article conducts experimental tests on the container-based distributed SDN simulation platform and the container-based distributed SDN control architecture.First,the connectivity of the virtual link in the host was verified,then the connectivity test and performance test analysis were performed on the complete SDN simulation,and finally,the container-based distributed SDN controller was tested for traffic.The experimental results show that the container-based distributed SDN simulation platform can complete SDN network simulation and has strong scalability,and the container-based distributed SDN network control architecture can realize the control of SDN network.
