Research On The International News Report Of "International Association" During The Japanese Puppet Period (1932-1937)

Founded on July 1,1918 and ended in October 31,1937,The International has a publication history of nearly 20 years.It is a private newspaper in the northeastern region of modern times that has been established for a long time,has a large circulation,and has a good social impact.The International takes "support justice and promote peace" as its purpose,and conveys the patriotism spirit of "the rise and fall of the country,everyone is responsible" with elegant and ingenious writing.In the harsh news control of the Japanese and the Puppet Manchukuo,The International on the one hand practiced its newspaper aspirations in a unique way,on the other hand,it also recorded the changes in the international situation and reproduced the pattern of international relations in this period.All these provide reference value for the study of the history of news in Northeast China and even the history of international relations.This paper takes the international news of The International under the control of Japan and Puppet Manchukuo as the research object,explains the development of international news in The International.It uses quantitative research methods to analyze the themes and speech tendency of the newspaper's international news in the special international relations pattern,and from the perspective of news historiography,it analyzed the newspaper's reports on the four important issues of "Navy Preparatory Conference","North Manchurian Railway Transfer","Revocation of Extraterritoriality",and "The Border disputes over the Manchukuo and Soviet Union ".Through combing the historical facts,it reflects the control of the Japanese and puppet authorities on the speech of The International.In international news reports,it presents the characteristics of Japanled public opinion orientation,performance of geopolitical struggles,and the mapping of mainstream national discourse power.
