Research On The Construction Of Physical Bookstores On Campus Of University Libraries

In July 2019,the General Office of the Ministry of Education issued the "Guiding Opinions on Further Supporting the Development of Physical Bookstores on College Campuses".The development of physical bookstores on college campuses ushered in a major opportunity given by national policies.Combining the current business goals of university libraries and the operating status of physical bookstores on campus,integrating the current construction models commonly used by universities in Anhui Province,and conducting a comprehensive analysis of them.Starting from the theory of information demand,this article starts with the necessity and feasibility of the cooperative construction of university libraries and campus physical bookstores,analyzes the combination of university libraries and campus physical bookstores,and summarizes the three most common campus physical bookstores in Anhui Province.The construction model includes the construction of physical bookstores in university libraries,the construction of physical bookstores by off-campus social capital alone,and the co-construction of physical bookstores on campus with the library as the center.It is found that the physical campus bookstores built in the new era are more based on university libraries.To understand the needs of users through questionnaire surveys,and after collating the results,a proposal for the construction of physical campus bookstores adapted to different types of colleges and universities was formed.
