Virtual Community Netizens' Self-expression And Ritual Interaction

In the post-Web2.0 era,the virtual community gradually integrated into real life and provided technical support for people to communicate and interact online.After decades of development,the traditional virtual community based on the PC is gradually declining due to changes in the platform and user habits.At the same time,the new mobile virtual community based on the APP is in the ascendant,but there is very little research related to it.Virtual communities play an important role in people's opinion expression,emotional catharsis,and social dating.Therefore,research on new virtual communities is of importance and urgency.The research field of this article is a new type of mobile virtual community-"Netease Cloud Music Evaluation Area(referred to as Yuncun)".The research object is the expression and interaction behavior of netizens in Yuncun.On the one hand,Net Ease Cloud Music is the fastest-growing,highest retention,and most active mobile music APP;on the other hand,Yuncun Community is also the representative of the music-based mobile virtual community with the most user reviews and the highest quality.The information text of the daily comments of Yuncun netizens and the content of in-depth interviews with Yuncun users are the basic research unit of this article.This research will use Collins' interactive ritual chain as the main theoretical framework,and use content analysis as the main method,and virtual ethnography and in-depth interviews as the supplements to study the ritual interaction and identity behavior of Yuncun netizens' self-expression.The study found that the process of self-expression and identity of netizens is the formation process of Yuncun cultural ceremony.Yuncun provides a place for gathering,and its culture restricts outsiders.In the comments,netizens generated a common focus and emotional resonance.The effect of emotion on cognition,the new media scene created by music + commentary,and the unexpected surprises obtained from memories are the internal reasons for the construction of cultural rituals.The result of the cultural rituals is firstly to form a sense of community identity;secondly to form a new social relationship symbol,that is,netizens can find friends who share the same view;and finally,to form personal emotional energy,that is,netizens move from self cognition to self reconstruction.This article attempts to describe the life scene of Yuncun netizens from the perspective of cultural rituals,and explore the significance of communication and psychology behind the expression of interactive behavior.The purpose is to explore the significance of Yuncun cultural ritual results in constructing community identity and self-construction,and to explain the reasons.
