Post-match interview plays an important part in sports events and serves as an significant supplement of the game site information. It is a key link of accurate information transmission,an bridge for audience to effectively acquire auditory and visual information in real time, and an significant way for reporters to realize their self-value.Questioning is one of the main methods employed in post-match interview to have instant access to information.Reporters' ability of questioning exerts direct influence on the smooth realization of the interview purpose. As a result, reporters' s questions are certainly worth studying. However,as seen in the earlier studies, predecessors either ignored this issue or just subjectively summed up useful experiences. In view of the above problems, the present paper analyzes the pragmatic strategies of questioning in post-match interview on basis of Journalism,Pragmatics and Broadcasting theories. This paper is a case study of 2016 Rio Olympic Games and establishes a corpus of post-match interviews.By analyzing specific examples,it proposes explicit pragmatic strategies in line with different language context where reporters have different purposes of interview. These strategies are put forward after the analysis of audience's demands through questionnaries. This paper shows that pragmatic strategies can help reporters realize their purposes in different types of post-match interviews and ensure that the interviews go smoothly. These pragmatic strategies include both macro-strategies with a view to the whole discourse and micro-strategies concerning specific sentences. In specific interviews, reporters should take into account different strategies according to various language context. In this paper,I has not noly carried out a detailed research on the language reporters used in post-match interviews but also conducted an in-depth study of theinterview theories.I hope this paper can help improve the abilities of reporters' questioning and provide reference to interviews in future.
