Basic Theoretical And Practical Exploration Of The Wisdom Museum

Based on my personal working experiences with museum designs and exhibitions,this paper discussed the philosophy and practice of wisdom museum in China and abroad.During the new century,China is facing the "museum boom".Wisdom museum is based on information technology progress as well as museum structure and its routine service.The author focused on three core issues which are preservation and protection,management and service.This paper pointed out that the relationship of user—object—information is the kind of complex interactive movement,new technology has created new relationship between protection and usage,and new time—space structure.The wisdom museum system has the several features i.e.inter—subjectivity,object intermediary and normative.
