Classical novels are not only the crystallization of Chinese excellent traditional culture but also the cultural tie that firmly links the Chinese knowledge and Chinese civilization.Through the mirror of classical novels,students can go back to the past where they can not only see the living conditions of people from different classes during the specific historical period,but also the sincerity and kindness of the ancient chinese working people.At the same time,they can see many vivid characters who the author has created meticulously for us.Through the text,students seem to be able to feel the breathing and dynamism from working people and also feel the struggle and cry from the bottom classes people for surviving.The purpose of teaching classical novels is to enable students to establish a correct outlook on life world and values.What's more,students get a chance to absorb the humanistic spirit in classical novels.While they are feeling the soul knocks brought by classical novels,they can improve their cultural deposit and enjoy the shock of art.However,there are still some teaching problems in current classical novels teaching,such as the selection of teaching content for examination and the simplification of teaching modes,which are contrary to the physical and mental development of students and cannot mobilize learning interest.Therefore,the teaching of classical novels needs innovation and development.During the teaching procedures,it's necessary for teachers to break through the single and simplistic teaching methods so that they can arouse learning interest and stimulate their desire to read so as to complete the reading process from "an article" to "a book".The literary and artistic value and teaching value of classical novels play a pivotal role in the junior high school stage.Therefore,in order to do a good job in the teaching research of classical novels from Chinese textbooks for Junior Middle School,the author takes the No.21 Middle School in Mudan District,Heze City as the research object.There are five chapters in this research.The introduction includes research background,research purpose,research significance,research methods,and a summary of the achievements of predecessors on the teaching research of classical novels.The second chapter is the concept and teaching value of the classical Chinese novels in Junior Middle School.Clarifying the concept of classical novels and analyzing the teaching value of classical novels have guiding significance for in-depth exploration and optimization of the teaching methods of classical novels.In the third chapter,the auther made a survey about the current situation of classical novels teaching of in the internship school.In the form of questionnaires,the auther collected the problems existing in the teaching and learning of classical novels,and analyzed the reasons for the problems so as to pave the way for the following countermeasures.The fourth chapter aims to research the teaching strategies of classical novels in Chinese textbooks for Junior Middle School According to the teaching and learning problems obtained from the investigation,corresponding solutions are proposed.For example,the rational use of situational teaching methods,improving literary literacy of teacher,cultivating independent learning and so on.The fifth chapter is teaching case designs of classical novels in Chinese textbooks for Junior Middle School.According to their lengths,the auther classified the classical novels and selected the two passages Chen Taiqiu and Friends' Journey and Grandma Liu Enters the Grand View Garden.There are various teaching strategies in the teaching designs,including recitation,cooperative exploration,situational teaching and whole book reading.Finally,conclusion sums up the full text.It is hoped that the research on the teaching of classical novels in Chinese textbooks for Junior Middle School can bring some thinking and help to the front-line teachers so that students can feel the charm of traditional culture.
