A new round of curriculum reform is being carried out,the new curriculum standards put forward the concept of human-earth coordination,comprehensive thinking,regional cognition and geographical practice of the four core qualities.Project-based learning and problem-based teaching have become the focus of educational reform in various countries.project-based learning has a wider influence in the world because of its practical characteristics,its unique training mode conforms to the requirements of the basic education geography curriculum reform,meets the needs of students' All-round Development,and highlights the requirements of the new geography curriculum standards.Project-based learning is that students organize themselves in groups around specific tasks,make plans and carry out research activities,and the results are finally presented in the form of project works,in this process,the construction of knowledge system,the formation of comprehensive thinking,improve the skills of learning.This new type of teaching model is conducive to improving students' core literacy,strengthening teachers' professional literacy and enriching classroom teaching models.It is now widely used in foreign educational fields,and there are many relevant research documents,however,there are few researches on project-based learning from the perspective of geography practical ability,and both project-based learning and the cultivation of geography practical ability have something in common,take the initiative to learn in practical activities.In view of this,this article first in the predecessor's Research Foundation,uses the literature review method to carry on the definition to the project type study and the geography practice strength,through the project type study in the high school geography teaching research,this paper summarizes the research results of project-based learning,geography practice,application of project-based learning in geography teaching,combination of geography practice and project-based learning at home and abroad.Through questionnaire survey,to understand the status of project-based learning in high school geography class,it includes the understanding and attitude of teachers and students towards project-based learning,the relationship between project-based learning and geography practical ability,the difficulties in applying project-based learning in high school geography teaching,students' interest in geography learning and the reality of students' geography practical ability.Based on the analysis of the strategy of project-based learning design,and combined with the characteristics of geography,the paper theoretically combines project-based learning with geography practice to design teaching cases,with a view to other project-based learning researchers or high school geography teachers to provide inspiration.
