Mathematical thought method is a profound understanding of the essence of mathematics and mathematical laws,which plays an important role in cultivating students' mathematical ability,developing their awareness of mathematical application and improving their thinking quality.The function and equation thought method is the core thought method of high school mathematics.I try to study the function and equation thought method in high school by using the theory of cognitive psychology in combination with my own teaching practice.This paper mainly discusses from the following three aspects:The first part generalizes and defines the related concepts of mathematical thought method,function and equation thought method and expounds the related theories of cognitive psychology.The second part uses the test paper to investigate the level and current situation of students' understanding of functions and equations,and analyzes the causes of the problems by combining with the knowledge of cognitive psychology.The third part takes The root of the equation and the zero of the function as the teaching case,and puts forward some teaching suggestions on function and equation thought method.It is hoped that this research can provide reference for the teaching of function and equation thought method in high school,and help to improve the teaching quality of teachers and the learning efficiency of students.
