Qinhuangdao is located in the northeast of Hebei Province.As the third batch of regions in the reform of college entrance examination,its reform work has just started.Due to the lack of educational and teaching resources,poor student resources and low social recognition,non-key senior high schools are facing more severe challenges in the reform of college entrance examination.This study focuses on the analysis of the specific requirements of Hebei college entrance examination reform for students' subject selection,combined with the actual situation of the non-key senior high school in Qinhuangdao,clarify the challenges and opportunities by Hebei college entrance examination reform for non-key senior high school.In the form of a questionnaire survey,this study investigated the grade two students in Qinhuangdao B senior high school from the aspects of the understanding of the reform of college entrance examination,the results of the selection of subjects,the factors influencing the selection of subjects,the problems encountered in the selection of subjects and the help needed.In addition,interviews were conducted with their teachers and parents.Then,found the following problems: the understanding of the implementation plan of the college entrance examination reform is not in place;the students' self-awareness is not enough,and there is no plan for the future;the teachers and parents' guidance is not in place;the students' selection of subjects is not balanced,and many students regard the excellent results as the main factor;non-key senior high school has fewer combinations of subject selection;students' lack of attention to the relationship between subjects and major admission in colleges and universities,etc.Finally,in view of the problems found in the survey,the corresponding countermeasures are put forward: strengthen the study of the implementation plan of the college entrance examination reform;students should pay attention to the cultivation of interest and the exertion of advantages;schools should carry out career planning courses;strengthen the home and school's cooperation and establish the tutor system for selecting subjects;students should establish subject awareness to avoid the utilitarianism of selecting subjects;non-key high school should allocate the limited resources reasonably,carry out class shift system,and provide students with more combinations of subjects;students should pay attention to the enrollment information,and colleges and universities should also strengthen the contact with the non-key senior high school,etc.
