A Study Of Tibetan Culture In Chinese Tibetan-themed Films Since The Beginning Of The New Century

As the most distinctive representative of Minority Films,Tibetan films have always been in a trend of stable development and creation.After entering the new century,the Tibetan directors,represented by Pema Tseden,began to create more and more Tibetan films,both in quality and quantity.The research object of this paper is the Tibetan films in the new century.Whether it is from the creation of other ethnic directors or from the self-expression of Tibetan directors,it is a more dimensional presentation of Tibetan films.Therefore,under such background and premise,it is of great significance to explore Tibetan culture in Tibetan films.This paper starts with the historical analysis and combing of Tibetan films,and summarizes and discusses the development characteristics of Tibetan films in the new century from two aspects.The first chapter mainly introduces the development history of Tibetan films in China,which is divided into three periods according to the development history of Tibetan films in China,so as to provide a historical perspective for the second and third chapters.The second and third chapters are the main part of this paper.They analyze and discuss the characteristics of Tibetan films from two aspects: Tibetan culture and artistic aesthetics of Tibetan films.First of all,through the superficial material performance to the deep spiritual display,this paper studies the Tibetan culture in the Tibetan films,from the most easily seen folk culture in the Tibetan films(Chapter II)to the least easily perceived Tibetan Buddhist culture(Chapter III).Whether from the cultural perspective of Tibetan directors or non Tibetan directors,the "self display" of Tibetan culture relying on Tibetan films has become the development trend and characteristics of Tibetan films in the new century.Secondly,the exploration and formation of aesthetic characteristics of Tibetan film creation since the new century.Since the new century,the exploration of Tibetan films in artistic aesthetics has attracted the attention of a large number of audiences and researchers.This kind of exploration mainly conveys the local customs and their rich spiritual world in the Tibetan area by the unique means of film art.This kind of daily display of self in Tibetan areas also has great enlightenment for the nationalization expression in film art.Therefore,this paper chooses to grasp the Tibetan culture in Tibetan films in the new century,and then looks forward to the development of Tibetan films.This has certain cultural and artistic significance not only for other minority films,but also for Chinese films.
