Based On The Ancient And Modern Medical Record Cloud Platform, The Research On The Medication Rules Of "Shengji Zonglu" In The Treatment Of Dysentery

Purpose : The purpose of this study is to organize the contents on the treatment of dysentery in Sheng Ji Zong Lu,an ancient traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)book written in the Song Dynasty,and then clarify the understanding of the etiology and pathogenesis of dysentery.Otherwise,we also used data mining to analyze the rules of medication and formulation in order to provide guidance for modern diseases that are classified as dysentery.Material and method:First,we used “Chinese Medical Classics ” to search contents involving dysentery according to inclusion and exclusion criteria,and entered the provisions that meet the requirements into the ancient and modern medical record cloud platform(online version)for standardization.And then analysis modules were used for distribution statistics,cluster analysis,association analysis,and complex network analysis to clarify the characteristics of treatment of dysentery in the Song Dynasty.In addition,modern pharmacological studies on high-frequency drugs were conducted to analyze their mechanism in the treatment of ulcerative colitis and other diseases.Results:1.Through searching the content involving dysentery in the Sheng Ji Zong Lu,a total of 300 provisions and 218 drugs were included.2.Among them,there are 15 herbs appeared more than 30 times in 300 provisions.According to the frequency from high to low in turn is Huanglian(140),Ganjiang(93),Danggui(73),Gancao(61),Chishizhi(55),Longgu(53),Hezi(52),Diyu(47),Houpo(46),Fuzi(46),Ejiao(41),Huangbai(40),Muxiang(37),Roudoukou(33),and Huangqin(30).3.The four qi of the medicine are mainly warm,cold and mild,;the five flavors are mainly bitter,acrid,and sweet;the meridians are mostly attributed to the spleen,stomach,lung and large intestine.4.Cluster analysis of high-frequency drugs found that the first group was Gancao,Diyu,Huangqin,Huangbai,Ejiao;the second category is Hezi,Houpo,Muxiang,Roudoukou;the third category is Danggui,Fuzi,Chishizhi,Longgu;Huanglian and Ganjiang can be divided into categories respectively,often in combination with other drugs in prescription medication.5.The correlation analysis of TCM syndromes and herbs showed that Ganjiang was used to treat cold dysentery and white dysentery;Huanglian was used to treat typhoid dysentery,post-typhoid dysentery,red dysentery,purulent blood dysentery,and mixed red and white dysentery.6.The results of the complex network analysis of traditional Chinese medicine showed that the top five combinations of Chinese medicine compatibility were:(1)Huanglian and Danggui(58 times);(2)Huanglian and Ganjiang(48 times);(3)Ganjiang and Danggui(36 times);(4)Huanglian and Ejiao(33 times);(5)Ganjiang and Fuzi(32 times).Conclusion:1.In theory,this book inherits the previous academic thoughts of Huang Di Nei Jing,Various pathogenic designate theory,and Bei Ji Qian Jin Yao Fang,etc.In the system of treatises,this book first distinguishes diarrhea from dysentery,and the etiology,pathogenesis and therapeutic drugs of dysentery with different syndromes were discussed.2.According to the analysis of high-frequency medication,heat clearing drugs,interior warming drugs,dampness resolving drugs,qi activating drugs,blood tonifying drugs,hemostatic drugs,astringent and purgative drugs and Qi tonifying drugs are commonly used in the treatment of dysentery in Sheng Ji Zong Lu.It can be seen that treatments of dysentery are mainly due to the different properties of cold and heat pathogenic factors,such as clearing heat and drying dampness,purging fire and detoxifying to eliminate dampness and toxin;or warming Middle-jiao to dispel cold,promoting qi and relieving pain to eliminate cold and dampness;or cooling blood to stop bleeding;or removing qi stagnation by removing dampness and activating qi;astringent to treat recurrent dysentery;nourishing blood for blood deficiency syndrome caused by hematochezia.3.Through cluster analysis,it can be seen that heat clearing and dampness removing drugs combined with blood cooling and hemostasis,blood tonifying and Qi tonifying drugs,which may be related to the invasion of blood collaterals by heat evil;promoting Qi drugs combined with eliminating dampness,warming and astringency may be related to the obstruction of the Middle-jiao;astringent drugs combined with warming Yang and tonifying blood may be related to repeated dysentery damaging Yin blood and Yang Qi.4.By modern pharmacological researches,it is found that high-frequency drugs have many effects,such as anti-inflammatory,anti-oxidation,regulation of intestinal flora,regulation of gastrointestinal motility,protection of intestinal mucosa and so on.They have a good effect on the treatment of ulcerative colitis,which is in line with the modern scholars’ theory that ulcerative colitis belongs to dysentery.
