A Retrospective Study Of Xiangsha Liujunzi Decoction In The Treatment Of Chronic Kidney Disease Stages 3-5

Purpose:The changes in TCM symptom scores and laboratory physical and chemical examination indexes of patients with chronic kidney disease(CKD)stage 3-5 before and after treatment with modified Xiangsha Liujunzi Decoction were retroactively analyzed,and the clinical effects of modified Xiangsha Liujunzi Decoction on patients with chronic kidney disease(CKD)stage 3-5 by invigorating the spleen and dampening the kidney and removing blood stasis were objectively evaluated.Material and method:In this study,437 patients diagnosed with stage 3-5 CKD from September 2019 to September 2020 were screened through the medical record information system of the Department of Nephrology of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Following the inclusion and exclusion criteria,306 patients who met the requirements were screened out.Among them,42 patients receiving Shenkang injection and Haikun Shenxi capsule were included as the control group,and 42 patients receiving Shenkang injection and Xiangsha Liujunzi decoction were included as the treatment group.The two groups were treated for 2 weeks respectively.The changes of Cr,BUN,GFR and TCM syndrome scores were observed before and after treatment.Results:1.Comparing the overall efficacy of Western medicine,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 88.10%;The total effective rate of control group was 76.19%.The treatment group was better than the control group,and there was statistical significance(P <0.01).2.In terms of renal function,after treatment,Cr and BUN were significantly decreased in both groups,while GFR was increased.The treatment group was better than the control group,with statistical significance(P < 0.05).3.Blood calcium,phosphorus,hemoglobin,blood carbon dioxide binding force in the two groups were improved after treatment,blood and blood calcium and phosphorus treatment group is better than that of control group,with statistical significance(P < 0.05),hemoglobin in treatment group was better than control group,with significant statistical significance(P <0.01),carbon dioxide binding force in treatment group have no obvious advantage.4.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 85.71%;The total effective rate of control group was 64.29%.There was significant difference between the two groups(P <0.01).The treatment group was significantly better than the control group in the single symptom scores of tiredness,weakness,shortness of breath,lazy speech,less food,soft waist and knees,nausea,vomiting,body drowsiness,dark complexion,abdominal distention,unsolid stool,sticky mouth.Conclusion:1.Modified Xiangsha Liujunzi Decoction decreased Cr and BUN levels,improved GFR,and protected residual renal function.2.Modified Xiangsha Liujunzi Decoction alleviates anemia symptoms,improves hemoglobin content,and improves calcium and phosphorus metabolism disorders.3.Xiangsha Liujunzi Decoction with added flavor can reduce the scores of TCM symptoms,especially in the aspects of fatigue,nausea and vomiting,sticky mouth and so on.
