Clinical Observation Of Siwu Xiaofeng Powder In The Treatment Of Diabetic Pruritus With Yin Deficiency And Blood Dryness Syndrome

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Siwuxiaofeng powder in treating diabetic skin pruritus(Yin deficiency and blood dryness syndrome),providing a high-efficiency method for clinical treatment.Methods:Using a randomized controlled trial method,60 diabetic skin pruritus(yin deficiency and blood stasis syndrome)patients meeting the selection criteria were divided into control group and treatment group,and there were 30 cases in each group.both groups were given basic medical treatment,such as Diet and exercise therapy,Western medicine to lower blood sugar,and health education on Diabetes.SiwuXiaofeng Powder is used in the treatment group and Ebastine is used in another group.One course of treatment lasts for 2 weeks and requires 4 courses of treatment.To observe and record the scores of blood sugar index,TCM symptoms and pruritus dermatitis.at the same time,the clinical efficacy and safety of Siwuxiaofeng powder in treating diabetes skin pruritus(Yin deficiency and blood dryness syndrome)were observed.Results:①Comparing the HbAlc,FPG and 2hPG indexes of the two groups before and after treatment,it was shown that both groups could reduce the blood glucose indexes of the patients,and the treatment group was lower than the control group(p<0.05).②2 groups before and after treatment compared the scores of skin pruritus,and both groups alleviate patients’ skin itching symptoms(P<0.05).The effective rates of the two groups were 93.33%and 80.00%,and SiwuXiaofeng Powder had better effect in relieving skin itching symptoms.③2 groups before and after treatment compared the scores of TCM symptom score,both groups can alleviate the patients’ symptoms of TCM(P<0.05).The total effective rate was 90%and 76.66%.SiwuXiaofeng Powder had a better effect on improving the TCM symptoms.④During the therapy process,there was no abnormal safety data in the two groups,and no adverse events occurred.Conclusion:Siwuxiaofeng powder has good clinical efficacy in treating skin pruritus of Yin deficiency and blood dryness type diabetes mellitus.It can effectively relieve the symptoms of TCM and skin pruritus,it can be further popularized and applied in clinic.
