BackgroundSchizophrenia(Schizophrenia SZ)is the main mental illness of total economic burden of society,school,work and life of the patients with widespread impact.Cognitive dysfunction is one of the main symptoms of schizophrenia patients and the severity of cognitive impairment and the prognosis of patients with closely related,social function recovery.High precision transcranial direct current stimulation(High-definition transcranial direct current stimulation,HD-t DCS)is a kind of noninvasive transcranial electrical stimulation technology,studies have shown that HD t DCS of mental illness caused by cognitive dysfunction has certain effect,at present in the intervention of SZ related research is less.This study intends to use HD t DCS to the treatment of patients with SZ,explore the curative effect of cognitive function in patients with HD t DCS to SZ,so as to provide technical support for the treatment of patients with SZ and theoretical basis.Objectives1.Explore the efficacy of HD-t DCS treatment on cognitive dysfunction in patients with schizophrenia,and provide a new means for the treatment of cognitive dysfunction in patients with schizophrenia.2.Explore the value of eye movement measurement,event-related potential measurement combined with the Chinese version of the MATRICS Consensus Cognitive Battery in assessing the efficacy of cognitive dysfunction.MethodsA total of 81 patients with schizophrenia were hospitalized in The Second Affiliated Hospital of Xinxiang Medical University(Henan Mental Hospital)from October 2020 to December 2021 were selected as subjects,at the time of admission to general demographic characteristics of investigation and assessment of cognitive function.Into the group of patients randomly divided into control group 29 cases,pseudo stimulate the group of 26 patients and normal group of 26 patients.Three groups of patients with schizophrenia admitted to hospital after all use is given priority to with atypical antipsychotics olanzapine drug treatment.Control group using conventional drug therapy alone,a pseudo group give10 times HD-t DCS pseudo stimulate,stimulate the group was given ten times normal HD t DCS stimulation treatment,the treatment time is 2 weeks,2 weeks later,again to three groups of patients for the evaluation of cognitive function.Cognitive function assessment tool for the determination of eye movement and event related potential cognitive MATRICS consensus.Data analysis software of SPSS 22.0,count data using X2 inspection analysis between groups,between group measurement data using independent the one-way ANOVA analysis;Measurement data before and after comparison in the group using a paired t-test analysis.A P <0.05 was considered as a statistically significant difference.Results1.Comparison of general demographic characteristics of true stimulation,pseudo stimulation and control group: sex,age,years of education and course of disease had no statistical significance of differences(P> 0.05).2.Comparison of cognitive function before treatment in the true stimulation,pseudo-stimulation and control group: the differences in eye movemennt measurement,event-related potential measurement,and MATRICS Consensus Cognitive Battery were not statistically significant(P>0.05).3.Comparison of cognitive function after treatment in the true stimulation,pseudo-stimulation and control group: After the two-to-two comparison,the A11(ms)results in the event-related potential determination showed that the difference was statistically significant between the control group and the normal stimulation group(P<0.05).4.Comparison of cognitive function before and after treatment in the true stimulation,pseudo-stimulation and control group: The results of the eye movement measurement,event-related potential measurement,and MATRICS Consensus Cognitive Battery after treatment were not statistically significant(P>0.05).There were statistically significant differences in results from A11(ms),Hopkins Word Learning Test-Revised,Word Fluency Test,Maze,Simple Visuospatial Memory Test-Revision Test,Continuous Manipulation Test-Same Paired Test results in post-treatment event-related potential determination in the normal stimulation group(P<0.05).Conclusions1.HD-t DCS treatment has significantly improved the cognitive dysfunction in schizophrenia patients.2.Eye movement measurement,event-related potential combined the Chinese version of the MATRICS Consensus Cognitive Battery are more rigorous and reliable to evaluate the efficacy of cognitive dysfunction. |
