Meta-analysis Of Efficacy And Safety Of GuizhiFuLingFang Combined With Conventional Chemotherapy In The Treatment Of Ovarian Cancer

Objective:Traditional Chinese medicine plays an auxiliary role in the treatment of tumor patients.Guizhi Fuling Fang（guizhi,taoren,fuling,danpi,chishao,etc）has the functions of activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis,eliminating phlegm and blocking.Domestic scholars used Guizhi Fuling Fang combined with chemotherapy to treat ovarian cancer patients.However,the therapeutic effect and safety reported in various studies are quite different,and there is no high level of evidence-based medical evidence to support and prove.Therefore,this study aimed to meta-analyze the efficacy and safety of Guizhi Fuling Fang combined with chemotherapy in ovarian cancer patients,and provide theoretical basis for clinical treatment.Methods:The Chinese Journal Full-text Database（CKNI）,VIP Chinese Science and Technology Journal Full-text Database（VIP-CSJFD）,Wanfang Data Journal Article Resource（Wan Fang）,Chinese Biomedical Literature Database（CBM）,Pub Med,The Cochrane Library,and Embase were searched by computer.The search time of each database was from database establishment to December 2021.The inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria were established to include the randomized controlled trials of Guizhi Fuling Fang in the treatment of ovarian cancer that met the criteria.Literature screening and data extraction were independently performed by two investigators,and controversial aspects were adjudicated by the investigators’ tutor;the quality of the included literatures was evaluated using the Cochrane risk bias assessment tool,data analysis was performed using Revman 5.3 software,forest plot and funnel plot were drawn,and Egger’s plot was drawn using Stata16.0 software.Results:1.In terms of efficacy,compared with conventional chemotherapy alone,Guizhi Fuling Fang combined with conventional chemotherapy could effectively improve the objective response rate [RR=1.42,95%CI（1.28,1.58）,P<0.05] and disease control rate[RR=1.18,95%CI（1.10,1.25）,P<0.05].Reduce serum tumor marker CA125(MD=20.18,95%CI（24.95,15.41）,P<0.05] content,It is suggested that Guizhi Fuling Fang combined with conventional chemotherapy can significantly improve the curative effect of patients.2.In terms of security,compared with conventional chemotherapy alone,Guizhi Fuling Fang combined with conventional chemotherapy and conventional chemotherapy alone showed the incidence of leukopenia [RR=0.76,95%CI（0.57,1.01）,P>0.05],the incidence of thrombocytopenia [RR=0.71,95%CI（0.48,1.04）,P>0.05],the incidence of allergy[RR=0.75,95%CI（0.52,1.07）,P>0.05],the incidence of hair loss [RR=0.98,95%CI（0.90,1.08）,P>0.05],the incidence of rash [RR=0.72,95%CI（0.35,1.45）,P>0.05],reduce the incidence of hemoglobin [RR=1.06,95%CI（0.96,1.16）,P>0.05],the incidence of gastrointestinal reaction [RR=0.57,95%CI（0.33,0.99）,P≥0.05],the incidence of elevated Alt [RR=0.55,95%CI（0.30,1.00）,P≥0.05] and aspertate aminotransferase increased incidence of [RR=0.58,95% CI（0.33,1.02）,P>0.05] have no obvious differences;For the incidence of muscle pain [RR=0.54,95%CI（0.41,0.73）,P<0.05].Guizhi Fuling Fang combined with conventional chemotherapy was better than conventional chemotherapy alone.It is suggested that Guizhi Fuling Fang combined with conventional chemotherapy has higher safety.3.In terms of quality of life,compared with conventional chemotherapy alone,Guizhi Fuling Fang combined with conventional chemotherapy,the patients had physical function score [MD=6.62,95%CI（3.20,10.03）,P<0.05],cognitive function score[MD=9.20,95%CI（4.54,13.85）,P<0.05],emotional function score [MD=7.95,95%CI（4.12,11.78）,P<0.05] and social function score [MD=13.12,95%CI（8.01,18.23）,P<0.05] were significantly better than conventional chemotherapy alone,suggesting that Guizhi Fuling Fang combined with conventional chemotherapy could significantly improve the quality of life of patients.Conclusion:Guizhi Fuling Fang combined with conventional chemotherapy in the treatment of ovarian cancer has significant advantages in improving effective rate,good safety,high quality of life score,worthy of clinical application.
