Objective:The analyze the correlations among the expressions NCAPH,FOXC2 and AXL proteins and their relationships with the clinicopathological characteristics and survival of patients with epithelial ovarian cancer.Method:We collected 149 specimens of epithelial ovarian cancer,30 specimens of benign ovarian epithelial tumor tissues and 30 borderline ovarian epithelial tumors tissue samples in this study.Immunohistochemistry for NCAPH,FOXC2 and AXL proteins were performed on the selected tissues using the Elivision? Plus detection kit.The survival conditions of patients with epithelial ovarian cancer were followed up.The relationship between the expression of NCAPH,FOXC2 and AXL protein and the clinicopathological characteristics of the selected specimens as well as prognosis of the patients were analyzed.The relationships among the three proteins were also analyzed.SPSS 26.0 software was used to analyze the data.Result:1.The positive rates of NCAPH,FOXC2 and AXL were 69.1%,65.8% and 67.1% in epithelial ovarian cancer,40.0%,50.0% and 43.3% in borderline ovarian tumors,and 10.0%,6.7% and 0 in benign ovarian tumors,respectively.There were significant differences in the expression of NCAPH,FOXC2 and AXL among the three tissues(P < 0.001).2.The expression of NCAPH,FOXC2 and AXL in epithelial ovarian cancer was significantly correlated with histological grade,FIGO stage,pelvic lymph node metastasis and intraperitoneal metastases and ascites(all P < 0.05),FOXC2 expression was correlated with ascites(P < 0.05),but NCAPH and AXL were not correlated with ascites(all P>0.05).The expression of NCAPH was also correlated with histological type(P<0.05),while FOXC2 and AXL were not correlated with histological type(all P > 0.05).There was no correlation between the three expressions and age and tumor size(all P > 0.05).3.Spearman correlation analysis showed that the expression of NCAPH was positively correlated with the expression of FOXC2 and AXL protein(r = 0.314 and 0.305,respectively,P < 0.001),and the expression of AXL was positively correlated with the expression of FOXC2 protein(r = 0.188,P < 0.001).4.Kaplan-Meier survival analysis showed that the positive expression rates of NCAPH,FOXC2 and AXL were related to the survival status of patients with epithelial ovarian cancer(P < 0.001).Univariate analysis showed that histological grade,FIGO stage,ascites,lymph node metastasis,intraperitoneal implantation metastasis and expression of NCAPH,FOXC2 and AXL were significantly correlated with the prognosis of patients with epithelial ovarian cancer(all P<0.05).5.COX regression multivariate analysis showed that pathological grade,lymph node metastasis,FIGO stage,and the expression of NCAPH,FOXC2 and AXL were independent prognostic factors affecting the survival of patients with epithelial ovarian cancer(RR = 1.821,4.493,2.393,1.997 and 3.120,respectively).Conclusion:1.NCAPH,FOXC2 and AXL are highly expressed in epithelial ovarian cancer,and are related to histological grade,FIGO stage,metastasis,prognosis and other factors.2.NCAPH,FOXC2 and AXL play a synergistic role in promoting the invasion and metastasis of epithelial ovarian cancer.3.The expression of NCAPH,FOXC2 and AXL is an independent prognostic factor in patients with epithelial ovarian cancer,and the combined detection of the three can be used as important immune molecular markers to evaluate the prognosis of patients with epithelial ovarian cancer.
