Medicare Health Performance Evaluation Based On QWB Perspective

Medical insurance is a vital part of promoting the health status of residents,and its effect has always been paid attention to by scholars,and the evaluation standard of health performance of medical insurance needs to be testified.In order to measure the health performance of medical insurances,this paper will focus on this part.Based on the panel data of CHARLS in 2013,2015 and 2018,this study selected the QWB as the evaluation index of individual health status.RE、FE and PSMDID were used to study.On this basis,further explore the health performance of commercial medical insurance in the short and long term.The results show that the health performance of urban employee medical insurance,urban and rural residents medical insurance and individual business medical insurance is negatively correlated,while the new rural cooperative medical insurance significantly improves the health status of the participants.In terms of population,the health performance of medical insurance of different groups is different.The rural cooperative medical system plays a role in promoting the health status of the registered rural residents.,the health performance of the urban employees’ medical insurance participants decreased.Commercial medical insurance plays an important role in promoting the health status of those with higher education.From the long-term and short-term health performance of commercial medical insurance,in the short term,the health status of the insured population of commercial medical insurance has been significantly improved,showing a positive correlation.In the long run,the correlation is negative.Overall,the results of this paper support from a certain sense of medical insurance for residents play an active role in amendment of health.We should improve the basic medical insurance,and promote the commercial medical insurance.
