| Objective This study observed and analyzed the therapeutic effect of FESS surgery combined with nasal sinus stent in patients with CRS complicated with AR.Methods Seventy patients with CRS complicated with AR who were admitted to the Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery of Chaohu Hospital affiliated to Anhui Medical University from December 2019 to June 2019 were randomly divided into the stent group(n = 35)and the control group(n = 35).The stent group was treated with FESS combined with sinus stent implantation, and the control group was treated with FESS.The same surgeon performed the same postoperative treatment. All patients underwent sinus CT imaging and the Lund-Mackay sinus CT score was recorded. After surgery, the nasal cavity of all patients was cleaned by nasal endoscopy every two weeks in our department, and the quality of life score of nasal conjunctivitis(RQLQ Scale),nasal endoscopy Lund-Kennedy scale and VISUAL analogue scale(VAS scale)were recorded before surgery,1 month after surgery and 3 months after surgery, respectively.Statistical analysis of the data was carried out under SPSS software. Results 1.There were 35 patients in the stent group, including 22 males and 13 females, with an average age of(46.66±16.77)years;there were 35 patients in the control group, including 22 males and 13 females, with an average age of(46.20±16.42)years.Preoperative Lund-Mackay score(13.49±5.18)in the stent group and 13.43±4.97 in the control group showed no statistically significant difference(p>0.05)2.There were no statistically significant differences in PREOPERATIVE RQLQ score, nasal endoscopy score and VAS score between the stent group and the control group(p<0.05);One month after surgery, the changes in RQLQ score, nasal endoscopy score and VAS score in the stent group were significantly greater than those in the control group, with significant statistical differences(p<0.05);Three months after surgery, the changes in RQLQ score, nasal endoscopy score and VAS score in the stent group were significantly greater than those in the control group, with significant statistical differences(p<0.05).3.One month after surgery, the difference of bilateral nasal endoscopy scores was(1.04±0.96)points in the control group and(1.68±1.42)points in the stent group, and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05);Three months after surgery, the difference of bilateral nasal endoscopy scores was(1.57±1.23)points in the control group and(3.11±2.05)points in the stent group. The difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).Conclusion 1.The postoperative recovery effect of FESS surgery was better after the application of sinus drug stents.2.The condition and quality of life of CRS patients with AR were well controlled by the treatment of sinus stent implantation after surgery.3.The application of drug stents in the treatment process has achieved good results and is recommended4.No obvious adverse reactions were observed during the use of drug stents in the sinus. |
