Visual Quality Of ZCB00 And ZMB00 After Cataract Surgery

Objective: To investigate the visual quality of Tecnis Multifocal ZMB00 intraocular lens and ZCB00 intraocular lens after cataract surgery.Methods: Retrospective study of 80 patients（80 eyes）with cataract associated with phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation.Among them,40 eyes（MIOL group）were implanted with intraocular lens model ZMBOO,and 40 eyes（SIOL group）were implanted with intraocular lens model ZCB00.The postoperative visual quality changes of the two groups were observed.The UVFVA,UVNVA,BCFVA,BCNVA,and optimal correction of near vision under far vision were compared between the two groups after 3 months.The average value of modulation transfer function（MTF）measurement,SA,high-order aberration,and the rate of lens removal and adverse optical interference after questionnaire survey were compared between the two groups.Results: There was no significant difference between the multifocal group and the monofocal control group in the UCFVA,the BCFVA and the BCNVA,but UCNVA and optimal correction of near vision under far vision was significantly better than that in the monofocal control group（P ≤ 0.05）.The average MTF of multifocal group was slightly lower than that of monofocal group,but the difference was not statistically significant.There was no significant difference in SA between the multi-focus group and the single-focus group,and the total high-order aberration in the SIOL group was significantly lower than that in the MIOL group.After the questionnaire survey,the postoperative lens removal rate（P ≤ 0.05）in the multifocal group was significantly higher than that in the SIOL group.Conclusion: Cataract surgery combined with multifocal intraocular lens implantation greatly improves the condition of senile vision,significantly reduces the dependence of patients on glasses after surgery,and makes patients take into account the visual quality of close range.
