| background: In 2020,there were 2.26 million new cases of breast cancer worldwide, surpassing lung cancer and becoming the most newly diagnosed cancer in the world. The annual growth rate of breast cancer in the world is 0.5%.The growth rate of breast cancer in China is 2.5%,which is higher than the world average. Moreover, with a large population base in China, breast cancer has become the main reason that threatens the health of women in our country. For the tertiary prevention of cancer, primary prevention is aimed at the etiology and risk factors of cancer;secondary prevention is early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment;tertiary prevention aims to reduce tumor-related mortality and disability. The strategy of tumor prevention in our country is "prevention is more important than cure".The primary prevention of breast cancer should clarify the cause firstly.Currently widely accepted risk factors for breast cancer include age, race, menarche history, breast characteristics, reproductive patterns, hormone use, alcohol use, tobacco use, diet, physical activity, and body habitus. The prevention of breast cancer is mainly drug prophylaxis such as tamoxifen, which has obvious side effects, which limits its wide application. The mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine is to recuperate the body function and prevent disease,so it has a more far-reaching application prospect in the field of disease prevention.Deer antlers as the main ingredient of proprietary Chinese medicine, used in the treatment of breast hyperplasia, mastitis has a history of 2000 years.A small sample of clinical studies in China showed that the prescription with deer antlers as the main component has a therapeutic effect on breast cancer. The results of our previous study showed that antler extract had a preventive effect on breast cancer.objective The purpose of this study is to understand the risk factors and protective factors of breast cancer in the real world through the epidemiological investigation of breast cancer group and outpatient active screening group. To explore whether the drugs containing antlers for the treatment of breast hyperplasia are the protective factors of breast cancer. Methods:This is a hospital-based case-control study.Relevant data were collected by issuing questionnaires to breast cancer patients who were hospitalized in the Breast Surgery Department of the First Hospital of Jilin University from October 2021 to November 2021,as well as those who came to the outpatient department for active screening during this period and were judged by breast specialists to be non-breast cancer patients through imaging.First of all,the factors in the questionnaire were analyzed by single factor analysis, and the meaningful factors were analyzed by multiple factors.Results:(1)There was no statistical difference in age, place of residence, education level, marital status, age of menarche, age of first pregnancy, oral contraceptive, number of abortions, family history, active smoking, coffee, sleep status, exercise status and life satisfaction between the breast cancer group and the outpatient active screening group.(p>0.05)(2)The difference between the breast cancer group and the outpatient active screening group in whether to to take drugs containing antlers for mammary gland hyperplasia was statistically significant.(p<0.05)(3)There were statistically significant differences in diabetes, hypertension, drinking, tea drinking, pain, passive smoking and menopausal age between the breast cancer group and the outpatient active screening group.(p<0.05)(4)There were significant differences in lactation time and birth times between breast cancer group and outpatient active screening group. Conclusions: 1.It is verified that hypertension, diabetes, alcohol consumption, late menopause age and passive smoking are high risk factors for breast cancer.2.Tea,pain,and breast hyperplasia drugs containing antlers may be protective factors for breast cancer.3.Breastfeeding time may be a risk factor for breast cancer. |
