Objectives:To understand the current situation of anxiety, depression, emotional inhibition and posttraumatic growth in patients with oral cancer,I explored the influence of general data on anxiety, depression, emotional inhibition and posttraumatic growth;I analyzed the correlation between anxiety and depression, emotional inhibition and posttraumatic growth in patients with oral cancer;I explored the mediating role of posttraumatic growth between emotional inhibition and anxiety and depression,to provide a scientific and reasonable basis for the intervention plan of anxiety and depression of oral cancer patients, improve the intervention measures, and improve the quality of life of patients. Methods:Convenience sampling method was used to carry out a questionnaire survey on215 oral cancer patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria and were hospitalized in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department of a tertiary hospital in Changchun from November 2020 to April 2021.The survey tools included: general data questionnaire, hospital anxiety and depression scale, emotional inhibition scale and posttraumatic growth scale.Epidata3.1 software was used to create the database, and the data was statistically analyzed by IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0 software.mean and standard deviation were used to descriptive statistics.T-test and one-way ANOVA were used for comparison between groups.Multivariate regression analysis was used to analyze the multifactorial analysis of anxiety and depression, emotional depression and posttraumatic growth in oral cancer patients.Pearson correlation analysis was used for correlation analysis of anxiety and depression, emotional inhibition and post-traumatic growth in oral cancer patients, and Amos 24.0 software was used for mediating effect analysis.Results:1.A total of 215 questionnaires were issued for this survey, and 215 were recovered on the spot with a recovery rate of 100%.There were 210 valid questionnaires with an effective recovery rate of 97.67%.2.The incidence of anxiety and depression in oral cancer patients was 43.76%,the incidence of anxiety was 40%,and the incidence of depression was 49.53%.The score of anxiety subscale of oral cancer patients was(8.11±3.76),and there were significant differences in gender, education, occupation, average monthly income,long-term residence, cancer stage and whether or not to receive flap transplantation(P<0.05).Multiple regression analysis found that education and cancer stage were the influencing factors of anxiety symptoms in oral cancer patients; The depression subscale score of oral cancer patients was(9.83±4.30),and there were statistically significant differences in gender, education, occupation, average monthly income,long-term residence, cancer stage and whether to receive flap transplantation(P<0.05).Multiple regression analysis found that cancer staging and long-term residence were significantly different in patients with oral cancer.3.The emotional inhibition scores of oral cancer patients were(27.78±8.64),the average scores of speech suppression were(2.01±0.93),the average scores of selfcontrol were(2.25±0.71),the average scores of timidity were(1.48±0.83),the average scores of camouflage feeling e were(2.11±0.64),and it can be seen that the score of self-control is the highest, followed by camouflage feeling and speech suppression, and finally timidity. The scores were significantly different in gender, education, longterm residence, marital status, occupation and cancer stage(P<0.05).4.The posttraumatic growth score of oral cancer patients was(60.60±11.94),the average scores of the relationship with others was(3.18±0.68),the average scores of new possibility were(2.78±0.83),the average scores of personal strength were(3.06±0.74),the average scores of self-change were(3.00±0.75),and the average scores of life perception were(3.14±0.67),it can be seen that the relationship with others has the highest score, new possibilities have the lowest score. There were significant differences in cancer stage and education(P<0.05).5.Anxiety and depression were positively correlated with emotional inhibition and its various dimensions(P<0.001),negatively correlated with posttraumatic growth and its various dimensions(P<0.001),and emotional inhibition was negatively correlated with posttraumatic growth(P<0.001).6.Posttraumatic growth plays a partial mediating effect between emotional inhibition and anxiety and depression, with a mediating effect value of 0.246 and a total effect of 0.702.Conclusions:1.The incidence of anxiety and depression in patients with oral cancer is higher, and the degree of depression is higher than that of anxiety.Educational background and cancer stage were the influencing factors of anxiety in patients with oral cancer, and long-term residence and cancer stage were the influencing factors of depression in patients with oral cancer.2.The patients’ emotional inhibition performances were self-control,camouflage feeling, speech inhibition and timidity. The results of multiple regression analysis showed that gender,long-term residence, marital status, occupation and cancer stage were the influencing factors.3.The patient’s posttraumatic growth score is at a moderate level, and the factors that affect the score include: cancer stage and education.4.Anxiety and depression in oral cancer patients were positively correlated with emotional inhibition, and were negatively correlated with post-traumatic growth. The lower the emotional inhibition level of oral cancer patients, the higher the posttraumatic growth level, and the lower the level of anxiety and depression.Posttraumatic growth plays a partial mediating role between emotional inhibition and anxiety and depression in patients with oral cancer. |
