Objective:1.To explore the relationship between TCM syndrome score and severity in myasthenia gravis.2.To explore the correlation between the severity of myasthenia gravis and the activity of the complement system.Methods:1.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria of this study, myasthenia gravis patients who were admitted to the first affiliated hospital of Guangzhou university of Chinese medicine from December 2016 to May 2019 and kept MGC score were collected.2.Had adjusted and ruled the TCM syndrome element evaluation table based on and literature researching, and calculated TCM syndrome score;and collected and sorted out the general situation and clinical data of patients.3.Choose the statistical method to compare the relationship between syndrome types and general data and clinical indicators.Results:1.Clinical basic data: a total of 120 MG patients met the standard of this study, with an average age of 47.9±1.5 years, including 56 males(46.7%)and 64 females(53.3%).The mean course of disease was(7.03±0.61)years.2.There was a significant correlation between the MGC score and phlegm and dampness pathogen scores, and the MGC score was positively correlated with phlegm and dampness pathogen scores. There was no significant correlation between MGC score and spleen deficiency, kidney deficiency and qi sinking scores.3.There was no significant correlation between spleen asthenia score and dampness score, but there was a significant correlation between spleen deficiency score and kidney deficiency,qi sinking and phlegm pathogen scores(P<0.05).There was no significant correlation between kidney deficiency score and dampness pathogen score, but there was a significant correlation between kidney deficiency score and qi sinking and phlegm scores(P<0.05).There was no significant correlation between qi sinking score and phlegm pathogen and dampness pathogen scores.Phlegm pathogen score was significantly correlated with dampness pathogen score(P<0.05),and the correlation coefficient was more than 0,it means positive correlation.4.Among the 22 patients, who made the serum complement detection,there3 patients’ both serum C3 and C4 were lower than the normal range, and 2patients’ onle the serum C4 were lower than the normal range. And there no patients’ serum C3 or C4 were higher than the reference range. The correlation between MGC score and serum C3 detection value was not significant, while that between MGC score and serum C4 detection value was significant(P<0.05),and the correlation coefficient was less than 0,it means showing a negative correlation. The correlation between C3 detection value and C4 detection value was significant(P<0.05),and the correlation coefficient was more than 0,it means positive correlation.Conclusion:1.The greater the severity of phlegm and dampness in myasthenia gravis patients, the more severe the myasthenia gravis condition.2.The heavier the degree of spleen deficiency in myasthenia gravis patients, the heavier the kidney deficiency,qi depression and phlegm pathogen. The heavier the kidney deficiency, the heavier the qi depression;Phlegm and dampness promote each other, and the heavier the phlegm evil is,the heavier the damp evil is.3.The aggravation of myasthenia gravis is related to the activation of the C4-pathway complement cascade. |
