Clinical Observation Of Bai He Gu Jin Decoction In The Treatment Of Children With Repeated Respiratory Tract Infection Of Lung And Kidney Yin Deficiency Type

Objective : A randomized controlled trial was conducted to observe the clinical effect of Bai He Gu Jin Decoction on children with Recurrent Respiratory Tract Infection(RRTI)of Lung and kidney Yin deficiency。The SPSS23.0 software was used to statistically analyze its effects on the frequency of respiratory tract infection,the course of disease,disease types,TCM syndrome scores and immune function in children,and to preliminarily evaluate its safety and effectiveness to provide more theoretical reference and reliable basis of replenishing the lungs and kidneys in the clinical treatment of RRTI.Method: The 72 children who met the criteria were split into test group and control group with 36 cases in each group,using the random number table method.The test group was given Bai He Gu Jin Free Decoction,and the control group was given Pidotimod Granules.Each group was treated for 2 months and followed up for12 months.Results:(1)In terms of disease effect :the effective rate of RRTI in the test group was 94.44%,and that in the control group was 80.55%.There was a pronounced discrepancy after testing(P<0.01).(2)In terms of illness: the two groups had a pronounced reduction in recurrence frequency,longest course of disease,and disease status after treatment(P< 0.05);Comparing the control group after treatment,the test group had a more pronounced effect in reducing the frequency,course of disease and the grade of the disease(P<0.05).(3)In terms of TCM syndromes: the effective rate of reducing TCM syndromes of lung and kidney yin deficiency in children with RRTI in the test group was 94.44%,compared with 88.88% in the control group,the discrepancy was statistically pronounced(P<0.01).Comparing the groups after treatment,both groups can abate the scores of various TCM syndromes(P<0.01).After treatment,there was no pronounced discrepancy between the two groups in improving complexion,fatigue,dry mouth,night sweats,growth,pulse count and other symptoms(P>0.05);The test group was better than the control group in alleviating symptoms such as hand,foot and heart heat,sore limbs,weight loss,spontaneous sweating,dry stool,tongue coating,and the total score.(4)Immune indicators: After treatment,the levels of serum immunoglobulin in the two groups were prominently enhanced(P < 0.01),the test group enhanced Ig A and Ig G levels even more(P<0.05,P<0.01),and there is no pronounced discrepancy in Ig M level(P>0.05).After treatment,the two groups could prominently enhance the level of T cell subsets(P<0.01),compared between the two groups,the levels of CD3+,CD4+,and CD4+/CD8+ in the test group enhanced prominently(P<0.01).Conclusion: Baihe Gujin Decoction has a significant effect on the treatment of lung and kidney yin deficiency RRTI.It is effective in improving body weight loss,sore limbs,spontaneous sweating,hand,foot and heart heat,dry stool,tongue coating and other TCM syndromes and immune function.It has good safety,relatively high quality and low price,and provide a more economical,effective and targeted treatment plan for children with RRTI.
