Objective: To explore the effect of lower limb stability training program based on motor control on knee joint function of patients with excessive lateral pressure syndrome. Methods: Forty three patients with excessive lateral pressure syndrome were randomly divided into experimental group(22 cases)and control group(21 cases). All patients received routine quadriceps training three times a week for 10 minutes for 3 months. On this basis, patients in the experimental group were given comprehensive subtalar joint exercise control training,30 minutes each time;the control group was given the same frequency and intensity of home quadriceps training.Lysholm Knee Scoring Scale was used to evaluate the function of the patients at 0,1,2 and 3 months respectively. The lateral and medial passive mobility of patella and the Q angle of the affected lower extremity were measured at the same time.Results:(1)Lysholm score showed that after one month of treatment, after a month of treatment, the difference between both the experimental group and the control group and the baseline when they first entered the group was significantly different(P<0.05).The difference between the experimental group and the control group was also statistically significant(P<0.05).Among four items: pain, instability, swelling and climbing stairs, the difference between the experimental group and the control group was statistically significant(P<0.05).After two months of treatment, the difference between both the experimental group and the control group and the baseline when they first entered the group was significantly different(P<0.05).The difference between the experimental group and the control group and the one month after each treatment was both significant(P<0.05).The difference between the experimental group and the control group was also statistically significant(P<0.05).Among three items: pain, instability and swelling, the difference between the experimental group and the control group was statistically significant(P<0.05).the experimental group and the control group are different. After three months of treatment, the difference between the experimental group and the control group was statistically significant(P<0.05)compared with the baseline when they first entered the group. The difference between the experimental group and the control group and the one month after each treatment was both significant(P<0.05).The difference between the experimental group and the control group and the two month after each treatment was both significant(P<0.05).The difference between the experimental group and the control group was also statistically significant(P<0.05).Among pain, instability, climbing stairs, and squatting, the difference between the experimental group and the control group was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)The outward passive movement of the patella was treated for three months. There was no statistically significant difference between the experimental group and the treatment group, within and between each visit node before and after treatment(P>0.05).Inward passive movement of the patella, after two months of treatment, the difference between the experimental group and the baseline at enrollment was statistically significant(P<0.05),while the difference between the control group and the baseline at enrollment was not statistically significant(P>0.05);After three months of treatment, the difference between the experimental group and the control group compared with the baseline when they first entered the group was statistically significant(P<0.05);but there was no statistical difference between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05).But the difference between the experimental group and the control group and the two month after each treatment was both significant(P<0.05).(3)Angle Q,after three months of treatment, there was no statistically significant difference between the experimental group and the treatment group, within and between each visit node, before and after treatment(P>0.05).
