Patients with Alzheimer’s disease as well as those with lower limb paralysis often suffer from varying degrees of urinary incontinence.How to effectively sense and detect the bladder volume of the above patients with portable extracorporeal devices and guide patients to toilet will help improve the quality of patient monitoring and quality of life.Therefore,this paper researches and designs a portable ultrasonic bladder urine volume detection device for accurately measuring human bladder urine volume and displaying the urine volume information using a mobile software.The main research contents are as follows:1.The ultrasonic based hardware acquisition device was designed to obtain bladder urine volume information.The ultrasonic transmitter circuit excites the ultrasonic probe to produce ultrasonic waves,The ultrasonic signal received by the ultrasonic probe is pre-processed by the filter circuit,three-stage gain amplifier circuit,band-pass filter circuit,rectifier circuit,and damping limiter circuit for data acquisition and wireless communication.2.The filtering algorithm and bladder urine volume detection algorithm were designed to calculating urine volume levels.I analyzed the principle of denoising by phase-locked amplification technique and designed the filtering algorithm to filter out the systematic white noise in the signal;I analyzed the bladder expansion characteristics and designed the pinhole camera model and bladder height model to calculate the bladder urine volume.3.The upper computer software processes the returned ultrasound data,derives the corresponding characteristic values for the measurement,and performs bladder urine volume level calculations,which are then returned to the mobile software for display.Finally,the functional testing of the ultrasonic transmitter and receiver circuits was completed by building an experimental platform to verify the effectiveness of the hardware circuit.The feasibility and validity of the device to measure bladder urine volume was verified using biological tissue experiments,water tank experiments,and simulated bladder experiments.
