| Research Objectives:By studying and analyzing the relationship between TCM syndromes of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease and ALDH2 gene polymorphism,we hope to provide certain research ideas and directions for the further study of genetics on the pathogenesis and treatment of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease.Methods:The 312 included subjects were divided into three groups(GG/GA/AA)according to the Glu504 Lys polymorphism of the ALDH2 gene.The general data,biochemical data,ALDH2 gene and TCM syndromes of the subjects were recorded in the CRF table,so as to study the correlation between the ALDH2 genotype of the subjects and TCM syndromes.Results:1.There were three genotypes of ALDH2 gene Glu504 Lys polymorphism in the study subjects,which were wild homozygous type(GG type,also known as ALDH2*1/* 1),mutant heterozygous type(GA type,also known as ALDH2*1/*2),and mutant homozygous type(AA type,also known as ALDH2*2 /*2).There were 199 GG genotypes,97 GA genotypes and 16 AA genotypes(63.78%,31.09% and 5.13%,respectively).The distribution of Glu504 Lys allele of ALDH2 gene was in accordance with the law of Hardy-Weinberg population genetic balance(P > 0.05).2.Glu504 Lys ALDH2 gene polymorphism in Gender,age,resting heart rate,body mass index(BMI),smoking history,history of hypertension,history of diabetes,family history of coronary heart disease,coronary angiography lesion counts,homocysteine(Hcy),uric acid(UA),cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein(HDL-C)and triglyceride(TG)results are no statistical significance(P >0.05).The difference in drinking history was statistically significant(P < 0.01).3.In GG genotype group,phlegm turbid obstruction syndrome,Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome,phlegm and blood stasis syndrome,Qi deficiency and phlegm stasis syndrome accounted for about 10.1%,15.1%,48.7% and 26.1% of the total number of genotype respectively;In the GA group,phlegm turbid obstruction syndrome,Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome,phlegm and blood stasis syndrome,Qi deficiency and phlegm stasis syndrome accounted for 13.4%,28.9%,44.3% and 13.4%of the total genotype respectively;In AA genotype group,phlegm turbidity blocking syndrome,Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome,phlegm and blood stasis syndrome,Qi deficiency and phlegm stasis syndrome accounted for 12.5%,37.5%,37.5% and12.5% of the total number of genotypes respectively.4.In the four TCM syndromes of G/A allele,the proportion of allele G was higher than that of allele A,which was 10.8%,17.7%,47.8% and 23.7%,respectively,in the phlegm-turbidi-blocking type,qi-deficiency and blood-stasis type,qi-deficiency and phlegm-stasis type.The proportion of allele A was 13.6%,30.3%,42.4% and 13.6%,respectively.5.The genotype GG/GA/AA TCM syndrome results showed statistically significant differences(P < 0.05);The G/A allele had no statistical significance in TCM syndromes.(P > 0.05);6.Further study showed that TCM syndromes were correlated with body mass index(BMI),and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Although there was no statistically significant difference between TCM syndromes and drinking history,the P value was a critical value(P 0.053).There was no statistical significance in the remaining results(P > 0.05).Conclusion:1.The genotype distribution of Glu504 Lys polymorphism of ALDH2 gene in the included subjects of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease conforms to HardyWeinberg genetic equilibrium law.2.Glu504 Lys ALDH2 gene polymorphisms that GG/GA/AA genotype in coronary atherosclerotic heart disease in patients with its age,sex,body mass index(BMI),resting heart rate,smoking history,family history of coronary heart disease,hypertension,diabetes,coronary angiography lesion counts,homocysteine(Hcy),uric acid(UA),cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high-density lipoprotein(HDL-C),and low density lipoprotein(LDL-C)in no difference.3.In patients with coronary atherosclerotic heart disease,the polymorphism of ALDH2 gene Glu504 Lys,GG/GA/AA genotype,showed significant differences in the history of alcohol consumption.4.In patients with coronary atherosclerotic heart disease,Glu504 Lys polymorphism of ALDH2 gene,namely GG/GA/AA genotypes,is correlated with TCM syndromes of Qi-deficiency and Blood Stasis,Phlegm and Stasis Interaction,and Qi-deficiency and Phlegm Stasis.5.body mass index(BMI)with qi deficiency blood stasis,phlegm and blood stasis syndromes alternating knot qi deficiency syndrome,there is a correlation between phlegm and blood stasis syndrome. |
