Clinical Research Of High Intensity Focused Ultrasound Combined With Traditional Chinese Medicine In The Treatment Of Hysteromyoma

Objectives:To investigate the efficacy and safety of HIFU intervention combined with traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of uterine fibroids,and to explore the effect of traditional Chinese medicine in improving the efficacy and reducing side effects after HIFU treatment,so as to provide a comprehensive scheme for HIFU combined with traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of uterine fibroids.Methods:A total of 156 patients with hysteromyoma who were treated with HIFU and met the standard of nanofiltration from October 2018 to September 2020 in HIFU center,Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of traditional Chinese medicine were collected.They were randomly divided into HIFU treatment group and HIFU combined with Chinese medicine treatment group.HIFU combined with traditional Chinese medicine treatment group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine for 3months after operation.The TCM syndrome score,hysteromyoma volume,SSS score of symptom severity,HRQL score of quality of life and other data of the two groups before and after treatment were statistically analyzed by SPSS 25.0 statistical software.Results:1.Comparison of uterine volume and myoma volume between the two groups:there were statistical differences in uterine volume and reduction rate of uterine volume,myoma volume and reduction rate of myoma between the two groups at 1、2、3 months after HIFU(P < 0.05);2.Comparison of TCM syndrome score between the two groups: there were statistical differences in TCM syndrome score between the two groups at 1、2、3months after HIFU(P < 0.05);3.Comparison of UFS-QOL scores of hysteromyoma symptoms and health-related quality of life between the two groups: there were statistical differences in SSS scores and HRQL scores between the two groups at 1、2、3 months after HIFU(P < 0.05).4.Curative effect judgment: after 3 months of follow-up,the effective rate of TCM syndrome score in HIFU combined with Chinese medicine group was 94.87%,the effective rate of myoma shrinkage was 91.03%,the effective rate of TCM syndrome score in HIFU group was 84.62%,and the effective rate of myoma shrinkage was 71.79%.The effective rate in HIFU combined with Chinese medicine group was higher than that in HIFU group(P < 0.05).5.Comparison of adverse reactions between the two groups: there was no statistical difference in the incidence of adverse reactions on the first day after operation between the two groups(P > 0.05),and there was significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions on the seven day after operation between the two groups(P < 0.05);Conclusions:1.HIFU combined with TCM treatment can promote the reduction of uterine fibroids and uterine volume,reduce clinical symptoms,improve the quality of life,and improve the treatment efficiency.2.HIFU combined with TCM syndrome differentiation can reduce the incidence of adverse reactions such as pain in the treatment area,lower limb sensory dysfunction,vaginal discharge and so on.3.HIFU combined with TCM syndrome differentiation has definite curative effect and high safety,which is worthy of clinical application.
