Objective: To observe the therapeutic effects of fascia knife and yoga exercise on lumbar muscle strain of college students,so as to provide a new treatment plan for the rehabilitation of patients with lumbar muscle strain and provide theoretical support for the popularization of fascia knife and yoga exercise in clinical application.Methods: Thirty-six college students with lumbar muscle strain(aged from 18 to 27years)were recruited,and 24 patients(15 males and 9 females)were selected to meet the research needs.The subjects were randomly divided into three groups,with 8people in each group(5 males and 3 females),namely infrared physiotherapy group,fascia knife group(fascia knife combined with infrared physiotherapy)and yoga exercise.Patients in each group were intervened 3 times a week for 6 weeks.The Visual Analogue Scale(VAS),Oswestry disability index(ODI),Active Range Of Motion,AROM),muscle strength,fatigue(TMG)and endurance of lumbar muscles were tested before intervention,3 weeks after intervention(only VAS and ODI were tested)and 6 weeks after intervention.Before and after the experiment,each test was completed by the same tester.The relevant data were obtained through the experimental test,and the statistical analysis of the test data was completed by SPSS26.0.For the experimental results of the three groups,the normality test was carried out first,then paired T test was used for comparison within the group,and one-way ANOVA was used for comparison among the groups,with P<0.05 as the significant difference level.Results:(1)VAS score and cure rate: After 3 weeks of intervention,VAS scores of the three groups were significantly reduced(P<0.05).After 6 weeks of intervention,the VAS scores of the three groups were significantly decreased(P<0.05).Compared with 3weeks after intervention,the VAS scores of the three groups were significantly lower after 6 weeks of intervention(P<0.05).After 3 weeks of intervention,the cure rate of fascia knife group was better than that of yoga exercise group(P<0.05),and that of yoga exercise group was better than that of infrared physiotherapy group(P < 0.05).After 6 weeks of intervention,the cure rate of yoga exercise group was better than that of fascia knife group(P<0.05),and that of fascia knife group was better than that of infrared physiotherapy group(P<0.05).(2)ODI score: Compared with before intervention,after three weeks of intervention,the ODI scores of the three groups were significantly reduced(P<0.05).After 6 weeks of intervention,the ODI scores of the three groups were significantly reduced(P<0.05).Compared with 3 weeks after intervention,the ODI scores of the three groups were significantly lower after 6 weeks of intervention(P<0.05).(3)AROM: Compared with before intervention,after 6 weeks of intervention,the range of motion of lumbar joints in all directions of the three groups of subjects increased significantly(P<0.05).(4)Lumbar back muscle strength and endurance: Compared with before intervention,after 6 weeks’ intervention,except for the changes of flexor strength of fascia knife group and infrared physiotherapy group and right flexor strength of infrared physiotherapy group have no significant differences(P>0.05),the muscle strength of three groups of subjects in other lumbar motion directions increased significantly(P<0.05).The endurance of lower back muscles(time of plate support)of the three groups of subjects increased significantly(P<0.05).(5)TMG test indicators: Compared with before intervention,after 6 weeks of intervention,except for the decrease of contraction time(Tc)of right erector spinae in yoga exercise group,there is no significant difference in other indicators(P>0.05)Conclusions:(1)Fascia knife combined with infrared physiotherapy,yoga exercise combined with infrared physiotherapy and infrared physiotherapy have obvious effects on alleviating lumbar muscle strain symptoms.(2)After 3 weeks of intervention,fascia knife combined with infrared physiotherapy has the fastest effects on relieving lumbar muscle strain pain and improving dysfunction,while yoga exercise combined with infrared physiotherapy has slightly slower effects,and it takes more than 3 weeks to show obvious curative effects,while infrared physiotherapy has the slowest effects.After 6 weeks’ intervention,yoga combined with infrared physiotherapy can alleviate the symptoms of lumbar muscle strain better than fascia knife combined with infrared physiotherapy.(3)Yoga exercise combined with infrared physiotherapy has a remarkable recovery effect on the strength and endurance of the lumbar muscles of patients with lumbar muscle strain,which obviously improves the range of motion of the spine in all directions and improves the dysfunction of patients with lumbar muscle strain.
