Purpose:To observe whether the preoperative ciliary body structure and function score system can predict the postoperative effect of FVB implantation, and further explore the postoperative effect of foldable capsular vitreous body(FCVB).Methods and Materials:A total of 38 patients with FCVB implants were collected from June 2018 to January2020 at Shenzhen Eye Hospital.According to the preoperative ciliary body structure and function score system, the patients were divided into group A with a total of 26 cases with a score greater than 5 points, and group B with a total of 12 cases with less than or equal to 5 points. And completed the patient’s follow-up 1 year after surgery, recorded the best corrected visual, acuity intraocular pressure, cornea condition, anterior chamber depth, ciliary body, retinal condition, subjective feeling, whether there is silicone oil leakage, whether to perform surgery again. The two sets of patient data were compared.Result:There were statistical differences in the best corrected visual, corneal transparency, and anterior chamber depth in the two groups of patients in the year after surgery(P<0.05).Group A patients performed better than Group B in these 3 areas. There was no statistical difference in acuity intraocular pressure, retinal reattachment and number of re-surgeries in the two groups of patients one year after surgery(P>0.05).Conclusion:The FCVB preoperative ciliary body function and structure scoring system can prejudge the patient’s postoperative best corrected visual, corneal transparency, and anterior chamber depth.FCVB is an effective vitreous substitute for patients with silicone oil dependent eye and severe eye trauma. |
