With the rapid development of society,people’s life pressure is increasing,and the problem of health is becoming increasingly prominent.Therefore,we need a method to monitor human health.The pulse signal of human wrist radial artery is rich in physiological and pathological information.By detecting and analyzing the pulse signal,we can carry out disease diagnosis and health monitoring for sub-health people.However,traditional Chinese medicine pulse diagnosis has strong subjectivity and lack of quantitative standards,which affects the reliability and repeatability of pulse diagnosis.To solve the above problems,a set of pulse detection system based on flexible pressure sensor is designed and developed.At the beginning of this paper,the generation mechanism,waveform characteristics and common analysis methods of pulse signal are introduced.On this basis,the appropriate pulse sensor is selected,and the basic performance of the sensor is tested.Next,a pulse signal acquisition circuit based on Arduino UNO board is designed to realize pulse signal amplification,A/D conversion and multi-channel acquisition.The circuit can communicate with the host computer through USB.At the same time,a screw drive pressure device with 57 stepping motor as driving source is designed.The device has three probe structure,high pressure precision and low noise,which meets the requirements of traditional Chinese medicine pulse diagnosis.Then the upper computer program based on Lab VIEW platform is developed.The software adopts classified modular display,which can realize waveform display,stepper motor control,data communication and data storage.Next,the system is used to test the pulse data.The whole test is divided into two parts:(1)pulse measurement under different probe structures,and the best probe structure is determined according to the test results;(2)Three channel pulse measurement: measure the pulse data of wrist Cun,Guan and Chi from low pressure to heavy pressure,and divide the pressure process into six stages for data analysis.The test data show that the system has good performance and can capture the pulse signal in line with the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine pulse diagnosis.Finally,the process of pulse propagation is simulated by COMSOL,and the mechanism of pulse propagation in blood vessels is studied.
