Objective:To retrospectively analysis the factors associated with bronchopulmonary dysplasiainsmall for gestational ageinfants. Methods:A total of premature infants hospitalized in the Department of Neonatology of our hospital from September 1,2008 to September 1,2018 and diagnosed with small for gestational age(SGA)and gestational age less than 34 weeks were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were divided into BPD control group(non-BPD group)according to whether BPD was diagnosed or not.The proportion of maternal fetal membranes, gestational hypertension, gestational diabetes, chorioamnionitis, multiple births, cesarean section, gestational age(w),neonatal respiratory distress syndrome, and the use of PS,birth weight(g),Apgar score(less than 7 minutes),neonatal sepsis, patent ductus arteriosus, neonatal anemia, proportion of mechanical ventilation time greater than 7 days, number of blood transfusions, and oxygen consumption time were compared between the two groups. Results:A total of 188 children were included, including 49 in the BPD group and 139 in the non-BPD group.Univariate analysis showed that the gestational age and birth weight of the children in the BPD group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the duration of mechanical ventilation, maternal gestational hypertension, multiple pregnancy, neonatal anemia, number of blood transfusions, and proportion of neonatal sepsis were significantly higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.01),but whether there were pre-delivery fetal membranes, chorioamnionitis and gestational diabetes,Apgar score(less than 7 in 5 minutes),cesarean section, neonatal respiratory distress syndrome, and the use of PS;there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.01);analysis showed that there was a difference in the prevalence of BPD in SGA between different gestational age groups and different birth age groups, and there was a significant difference in the proportion of BPD group and non-BPD group with gestational age less than 28 weeks and 28 w-32 weeks(P<0.01),and birth weight less than 750 g and birth weight between the two groups(P<0.01).Conclusion:1)BPD is a serious complication in neonatal period due to multiple factors such as premature delivery, positive pressure ventilation, pulmonary infection, oxidative stress, etc. Its incidence in SGA is high, and the incidence of BPD in SGA has been increasing year by year in recent years;2)The factors of BPD in SGA include gestational hypertension, premature delivery(GA<32 weeks),ultra-low birth weight(BW<1000g),multiple pregnancy, mechanical ventilation time greater than 7 days, long oxygen consumption time, anemia of premature infants, neonatal sepsis and multiple red blood cell transfusions.
