With the deepening reform of China’s health care,private hospitals have gradually become an important part of China’s health care system and also play an active role in it.After 40 years of reform and opening up,the Socialist market economy has been deepening,diversifying,multi-level and multi-angle medical service demand is gradually penetrating into the hearts of the people.Under the increasingly fierce competition environment,private medical institutions have to face their own environment and their own problems,and it is necessary for them to formulate long-term strategic plans to ensure the sustainable long-term and stable development of hospitals.Developing a sound and timely development strategy can help the hospital to identify the direction of future efforts,carry out planned and focused medical operations,so that internal resources can be rationally allocated,to enable senior managers to avoid the blindness of hospital development,and to improve the overall level of hospital operation and management,it is of great significance for the survival and development of the private hospital and even the whole medical profession to make the private hospital the best in the fierce competition.First of all,this paper summarizes the theory of strategic management,after a full understanding of the relevant research status of hospital strategic management,the paper research methods,research content and tools.Then this paper takes YS private Hospital as the main body of study,introduces the basic situation of YS private Hospital,analyzes the macro-environment of YS private hospital by PEST and porter’s five forces model,it also makes an in-depth analysis of the hospital’s internal resources and capabilities,and then makes an objective judgment of the hospital’s own resource allocation and core capabilities by using the SWOT analysis matrix,by using the analysis tools of Ife,Efe and QSPM,the paper puts forward the strategy selection,Strategy Implementation and safeguard measures of the hospital,these research conclusions will be helpful to the special characteristics and Development Direction of YS private Hospital,and further improve the competitiveness of its market environment,at the same time for other private hospitals and small and medium-sized public hospitals in China to provide reference development models and lines.
