Study On The Effect Of New Self-made Eye Mask In Dermatologic Phototherapy Patients

Objective:This paper introduces the specific method of making a new type of eye mask made by ourselves,and applies it to patients with skin phototherapy,verifies its clinical application effect,and provides a new direction for the selection of eye mask for patients with skin phototherapy.Methods:A total of 177 patients(meeting the inclusion criteria)who needed phototherapy were selected and divided into control group 1,control group 2 and experimental group with 59 patients in each group according to the admission time.A total of 118 patients admitted between September and December 2019 were selected as the control group(59 patients each in control group 1 and control group 2),and 59 patients admitted between September and December 2020 were selected as the trial group.After the patients’ face cleaning,control group 1 received traditional eye mask,control group 2 received goggles,and experimental group received a new self-made eye mask.During the phototherapy period,the data of the three groups of patients in four aspects,including the shading effect of eye mask,patient comfort,nurse operation time and medical cost,were collected respectively.The collected data were collected and analyzed statistically by SPSS21.0 software to evaluate the application effect of different eye protective devices for patients in dermatology phototherapy department.Results:Design and make a new type of eye mask.The shading effect,patient comfort and medical cost of patients in the experimental group(self-made new eye mask)were significantly better than those in the control group 1(traditional eye mask);The experimental group(self-made new eye mask)was significantly better than control group 2(goggles)in shading effect,patient comfort,nurse operation time and medical cost in dermatology phototherapy patients,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusions:The new type of eye mask made by ourselves can be applied to patients with dermatology phototherapy,which can improve the shading effect,improve patient comfort,save nurses’ operation time and reduce medical costs.The analysis shows that the new type of self-made eye mask is more suitable for clinical use and better patient experience than the traditional eye mask and goggles,and has a certain value of promotion and application in dermatology.
