Clinical Efficacy Of Jssx Combined With Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy For Stage Ⅲ Esophageal Cancer

Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Jiusheng Shengxue granules in the neoadjuvant chemotherapy of stage Ⅲesophageal squamous cell carcinoma with Qi deficiency and failure syndrome,so as to provide a more comprehensive treatment plan for patients with locally advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma during the perioperative period.Methods: 62 patients with stage Ⅲ esophageal squamous cell carcinoma diagnosed by pathology and TCM syndrome differentiation were selected.They were divided into control group and treatment group by SPSS,31 cases in each group.The control group was given two cycles of Paclitaxel-Cisplatin,while the treatment group was given Jiusheng Shengxue granules from the first day of chemotherapy to the end of the two cycles.The myelosuppression,immune function,the surgery after chemotherapy,neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio(NLR),platelet to lymphocyte ratio(PLR)and quality of life scores were observed and analyzed.All data were analyzed by SPSS 26.0 statistical software.Results:1 Bone marrow suppression According to the degree of myelosuppression: the degree of leukocyte and hemoglobin inhibition in the group treated with granule was better than that in the group received neoadjuvant chemotherapy only(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the degree of platelet inhibition between the two groups(P>0.05).In terms of cell count evaluation: The peripheral blood leukocyte,hemoglobin and platelet of the two groups decreased during the treatment(P<0.05).No matter at the end of the first or the two course of treatment,the leukocyte count of the group treated with granule was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).There were statistical differences in the content of hemoglobin and platelet between the two groups at the end of the second cycle,and the treatment group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).2 Immune function After treatment,the ratio of CD3+ and CD4+ cells in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05);and Th/Ts was also significant(P<0.05).3 The surgery after chemotherapy Two cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy were completed in both groups.There was no significant difference in effective rate(CR+PR)between the groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the rate of operation,total remission rate of pathology and complete resection rate between the two groups(P>0.05).4 The NLR and PLR of peripheral blood After treatment,NLR in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).But there was no difference in PRL(P>0.05).5 Quality of life score(QOL)QOL score and grade of the group using Jiusheng Shengxue granules were higher than that of the other group after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).6 Adverse reactions The grades of nausea and vomiting and infection in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05);there was no significant difference in the grades of liver function injury,renal function injury,proteinuria and diarrhea between the two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion:Jiusheng Shengxue granule can significantly reduce the bone marrow suppression in the preoperative neoadjuvant therapy of patients with stage Ⅲesophageal squamous cell carcinoma,enhance the immune function of patients,improve the quality of life and prognosis,and has no obvious side effects.
