Objective In many diseases and tumors,Peptidylprolyl cis/trans isomerase(NIMA-interacting 1,Pin1)regulate the expression of Cell cycle proteinD1(CyclinD1).Detect the expression of Pin1 and CyclinD1 in adult sinonasal inverted papilloma(SNIP),SNIP with dysplasia and SNIP malignant expression,explore the correlation between Pin1 and CyclinD1 in SNIP and its role in the occurrence and development of malignant transformation,thus guiding clinical treatment.Methods Experimental group:24 cases of adult SNIP tissue,17 cases of SNIP with dysplasia(including 10 of mild dysplasia and 7 of moderate and severe dysplasia),5 cases of SNIP malignant tissue,46 cases in total.Control group:20 cases of adult inferior turbinate mucosal tissue specimens underwent partial inferior turbinectomy due to compensatory hypertrophy of one inferior turbinate due to nasal septum deviation.The experimental method adopts PCR and immunohistochemistry to detect the expression of Pin1 and CyclinD1 mRNA and protein,and conduct correlation analysis to explore the expression and clinical pathology of Pin1 and CyclinD1 in each experimental group.And the relationship of characteristics.Measurement data usingχ~2 test,Fisher exact probability method.Count data used t test,Mann-Whitney U test,Kruskal-Wallis H method.Spearman rank correlation analysis and double Variable correlation analysis were used on Pin1 and CyclinD1 correlation.P<0.05 considered the difference to be statistically significant.Results 1.Pin1 mRNA expression in the SNIP group was higher than that in the control group,and the SNIP with dysplasia group was lower than the control group,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05);the SNIP malignant group was lower than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).SNIP>SNIP with dysplasia>SNIP malignant change group,only the expression difference between SNIP group and SNIP malignant group was significant(P<0.05).In the SNIP group,the expression of Pin1 mRNA was higher in patients older than 55 years old than those younger than 55 years old,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.The expression of CyclinD1 mRNA in SNIP,SNIP with dysplasia group,and SNIP malignant transformation group were higher than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).And SNIP malignant transformation>SNIP with dysplasia>SNIP group,the difference between the groups was significant(P<0.05).In experimental group,the expression of CyclinD1 mRNA in different genders,ages,and clinical stages was not significantly different(P>0.05).3.There was no significant correlation between Pin1 mRNA and CyclinD1 mRNA expression in each experimental group(P>0.05).4.The positive expression rate of Pin1 protein of the SNIP group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=8.312,P<0.05).In addition,the positive expression rate of Pin1 protein was SNIP>SNIP with dysplasia>SNIP malignant group,the difference between SNIP group and SNIP with dysplasia group,SNIP group and SNIP malignant group was statistically significant(P<0.05).The positive rate of Pin1 protein expression in the SNIP group was T4>T2>T1>T3 in different clinical stages,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.The positive rate of CyclinD1 protein expression in the SNIP with dysplasia group and the malignant transformation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The positive expression rate of CyclinD1protein was SNIP malignant>SNIP with dysplasia>SNIP group,there were statistically significant differences between SNIP group and SNIP with dysplasia group,SNIP group and SNIP malignant group(P<0.05).There was no significant correlation between the positive rate of CyclinD1 protein in each experimental group and the different gender,age,and clinical stage of patients(P>0.05).6.The expression of Pin1 protein and CyclinD1 protein was negatively correlated(Rs=-0.717,P=0.045).Conclusion 1.With the occurrence and development of SNIP,the expression of Pin1mRNA and Pin1 protein gradually decreases.Its low expression is closely related to the development of SNIP and the occurrence of malignancy SNIP played a certain inhibitory role in the malignant transformation process.2.With the occurrence and development of SNIP,the expression of CyclinD1 mRNA and CyclinD1 protein increases,and its overexpression is closely related to the occurrence,development and malignancy of SNIP,suggesting that it may play a certain role in promoting the malignant transformation of SNIP.3.The expression of Pin1 protein and CyclinD1 protein in SNIP tumor tissues is negatively correlated,suggesting that Pin1 and CyclinD1 may play an antagonistic role in the occurrence and development of SNIP.
