The Clinical Observation Of Knee Osteoarthritis Treated By The Bushentongluo Formula

Objective and significanceThe research is aimed the at the graduate adviser’s experience formula to treat Knee Osteoarthritis,which is caused by efficiency of liver and kidney or phlegm-blood accumulation by using the formula of invigorating the kidney and activating collaterals(Bushentongluo Formula).To observe and evaluate its clinical efficacy,safety,through strict,reasonable statistical calculation and explain the curative mechanism of the Formula,clear the formula on the treatment of clinical characteristics and advantages.For the formulas provide reliable evidence of evidence-based medicine in clinical application.MethodsCollect the Guangzhou hospital of traditional Chinese medicine rheumatism outpatient service of 60 standard cases of knee osteoarthritis from December2016 to December 2017.By using the computer random number table method,two groups were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,In each group,there are 30 cases.The treatment group was given the Bushentongluo Formula combined celecoxib while the other group was only given celecoxib.After four weeks’ treatment,the two groups would be scored by TCM syndrome,VAS pain score,WOMAC and analyzed the data of CRP,ESR in order to evaluate effectiveness and safety through statistics analysis.Objectively evaluate the clinical effects and safety of Bushentongluo Formula for treating Knee Osteoarthritis,KOA.Results1.The treatment group for VAS pain score before treatment(5.53±1.36)and after treatment(2.13±1.22).The control group for VAS pain score before treatment(5.70±1.18)and after treatment(3.67±1.21).It is found by comparing the two groups before and after treatment that there is obvious differences(P<0.01),and it is of statistical significance.That is to say,the treatments of the two groups both can reduce pain degree of Knee Osteoarthritis,KOA.It is found from the inter-comparison between the two groups that there is no obvious difference(P<0.01),and it is of no statistical significance.It is thought that the effect of alleviating the pain from the treatment group is better than that from the control group.The difference is of statistical significance.2.The treatment group for WOMAC score before treatment(42.47±17.15)and after treatment(21.20±8.33).The control group for WOMAC score before treatment(41.13±16.06)and after treatment(28.50±10.07).It is found by comparing the two groups before and after treatment that there is obvious differences(P<0.01),and it is of statistical significance.After the treatment.The treatment group’s score falls more obviously than that of the control group,the differences is of statistical significance.(P<0.01).It is thought that the treatments of the two groups both can reduce the score for WOMAC.That is to say,the two treating methods both can improve the function of the knee joint.Comparing with the data of the two groups after the treatment,the treatment group’s score for WOMAC falls more obviously than the control group’s.So the treatment’s treating effects is better on improving the function of the knee joint.3.The treatment group’s related biochemical indicators before treatment are :CRP(10.47±3.60)、ESR(17.36±6.26)and after treatment CRP(6.65± 2.59)、ESR(10.37±3.76).The control group’s related biochemical indicators before treatment are : CRP(11.25±3.70)、ESR(18.17±6.20)and after treatment CRP(9.18±2.85)、ESR(13.73±3.48).After the treatment,the two groups’ levels for(ESR)and(CRP)can both be reduced compared with those before the treatment.The differences are of statistical significance(P<0.01).After the treatment,the treatment group’s levels for(ESR)and(CRP)are reduced more obviously than the control group’s.The differences are of statistical significance(P<0.01).That is to say,the two treating methods can both reduce related biochemical indicators such as CRP、ESR etc.The treatment group’s treatment reduces inflammation more obviously than the control group’s.4.TCM symptoms curative effect observation results show that: In the treatment group,the total effective rate was 90.0%.Among them,2 cases were healed(6.7%),11 cases were markedly improved(36.7%),Effective in 14 patients(46.7%),invalid in 3 patients(10.0%).In the control group,the total effective rate was80.0%.Among them,0 cases were healed,6 cases were markedly improved(20.0%),Effective in 18 patients(60.0%),invalid in 6 patients(20.0%).Through the comparison,it’s found that the treatment group’s treating is better than the control group’s.The difference is of statistical significance(P<0.05).ConclusionThe Bushentongluo Formula can reduce VAS score,WOMAC score.It can also reduce ESR level and CRP level.It can obviously improve the symptoms and signs of the patients.The treating effects of the prescription are better than the control group(western medicine),the clinical effect is sure and there is no obvious untoward effect.The prescription can be popularized in clinical.
