| Objective:To investigate the relationship between peripheral blood micronutrient l evels and oral mucosal diseases(minor recurrent aphthous ulcer, angular cheilitis, cheilitis and geographic tongue)in children aged 0~14 years. Methods:One hundred and fifty-two children with oral mucosal lesions(COML)and 65 cases of healthy children(health control group,HC)were included for retr ospective cross-sectional analysis. The clinical data of each group were recorded s eparately to compare whether there existed differences in the levels of serum wate r-soluble vitamins(vitamins B1,B2,B3,B5,B6,B7,B9,B12,C),serum fat-solu ble vitamins(vitamins A,E,K,25(OH)D2,25(OH)D3),zinc and serum calcium.W hether peripheral blood micronutrients were risk factors associated with the onset o f COML was analyzed through disorder multiclass logistic regression with SPSS23.0 software package.Results:1.Vivo peripheral blood micronutrients differed in children with minor recurrent aphthous ulcers, cheilitis, and geographic tongue(P(27)0.05);2.Compared with the HC group, children in minor recurrent aphthous ulcer grou p had significantly lower levels of vitamin B1、B6、B7、C、A、25(OH)D3(P(27)0.05),and relatively higher rates of vitamin B6(50.00%vs 13.85%)、vitamin B7(36.76%vs 9.23%)、25(OH)D3(64.71%vs 36.92%)deficiency、vitamin K excess(8.82%vs 0.00%)(P(27)0.005).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that chi ldren with vitamin B1、vitamin C、vitamin A levels deficiency、vitamin B5、vita min K levels excess were more likely to develop Mi RAU.The OR values(95%C I)were(OR(28)0.448,95%CI:0.266-0.754,P(28)0.003)、(OR(28)0.927,95%CI:0.875-0.982,P(28)0.01)、(OR(28)0.993,95%CI:0.989-0.996,P(27)0.001)、(OR(28)1.033,95%CI:1.003-1.064,P(28)0.03)、(OR(28)2.444,95%CI:1.348-4.431,P(28)0.003);3.Compared with HC group, the levels of vitamin B7 and 25(OH)D3in children with cheilitis were significantly lower(P(27)0.05),and the rate of vitamin B7 deficie ncy was significantly higher(P(27)0.005).Multinomial logistic regression analysis sho wed that the risk of cheilitis was increased in children with vitamin B7、vitamin A deficiency(OR(28)0.025,95%CI:0.001-0.687,P(28)0.029),(OR(28)0.995,95%CI:0.990-0.999,P<0.001);4.Compared with the HC group, vitamin K excess rate was significantly higher in children with geographic tongue(7.14%vs 0.00%)(P(27)0.005).Multinomial logis tic regression analysis showed that patients with vitamin C deficiency、vitamin K excess were more likely to suffer from the geographic tongue(OR(28)0.920,95%CI:0.862-0.983,P(28)0.013),(OR(28)1.961,95%CI:1.028-3.741,P(28)0.041);5.Compared with other groups, peripheral blood micronutrients had no correlatio n with the pathogenesis of angular cheilitis(P(29)0.05).Conclusion:According to the analysis of clinical data,it is speculated that:Vitami n B1,vitamin C,vitamin A deficiency, vitamin B5,and vitamin K excess were ri sk factors for incidence in children with minor recurrent aphthous ulcer, and each element was independent for each other;Vitamin B7 and vitamin A deficiency we re risk factors for cheilitis in children, and the two were independent for each oth er;Vitamin C deficiency and vitamin K excess were risk factors for the incidence of geographic tongue, and the two were independent for each other. |
