| Objective : To analysis the pre-hospital transfer of patients with chest pain and the in-hospital rescue of patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS)in Shenyang during the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)epidemic.Methods : A retrospective study was conducted on the number of chest pain patients transferred from Shenyang emergency center to three representative provincial tertiary hospitals during the period from January to June 2019 and the same period in 2020.Patients with chest pain who were transferred to the First Hospital of China Medical University from January to June 2019 and the same period in 2020 were chosen as the research object. The hospitalization rate and the proportion of surgical treatment of patients with ACS,the time from door to balloon(D-to-B)and the time from the first medical contact to balloon(FMC-to-B)of ST elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI)patients who received reperfusion surgery within 12 h and mortality were compared between the 2019 group and 2020 group. The hospitalized patients with ACS from April to June in 2019 group and 2020 group is divided into three groups: low risk group < 90 points, moderate risk group is from 90 to 133 points,high-risk group > 133 points, according to Global hospital Acute Coronary Events(GRACE)score.Gender, age,GRACE score and mortality were compared between the hospitalized patients with ACS from April to June in 2019 group and 2020 group. Results:From January to June 2020,the number of patients with chest pain in all the 3hospitals decreased compared with the same period of last year, the monthly number of patients with chest pain in the 2020 group showed the same trend as that in the 2019 group, and the number of patients with chest pain and ACS patients gradually increased as the newly confirmed number of COVID-19 patients in Shenyang decreased every month. The hospitalization rate of ACS patients was low,the D-to-B time and FMC-to-B time of STEMI patients were prolonged(P < 0.05).There were no significant differences in the proportion of surgical treatment, gender, age,GRACE score and mortality between the two groups. Conclusions:The COVID-19 epidemic affected the pre-hospital transfer of patients with chest pain in Shenyang. The "return to work and production" in our hospital under the normalized situation of COVID-19 epidemic ensured the quality of treatment for ACS patients. |
