| Objective:To study the relationship between the six single nucleotide polymorphisms(rs1512268,rs1016343,rs7837688,rs7501939,rs2735839,and rs3757441)and prostate cancer in Chinese Han population.Methods:This study is a case-control study.The case group is 165 patients diagnosed with prostate cancer from January 2013 to November 2018 at the Zhongda hospital affiliated to Southeast University.Choose 198 healthy persons who took medical examination in the same period as the control group.Recorded demographic characteristics including name,age,height,weight,and previous diseases.Patients in the case group should additionally record the PSA test results.Record clinical stage and Gleason score of patient’ s prostate cancer after surgery.Diagnostic criteria of previous diseases are:1.Hypertension:According to the standards of WHO and the International Hypertension Federation,systolic blood pressure(SBP)is greater than or equal to 140mmhg or diastolic blood pressure(DBP)is grater than or equal to 90mmhg.2.Diabetes:Random plasma glucose concentration greater than or equal to 11.1 mmol/L or fasting plasma glucose greater than or equal to 7 mmol/L or OGTT test is positive.Gleason score is carried out according to Gleason score table published in the Chinese Urology Guidelines for Diagnosis and Treatment published in 2016.Clinical stage of prostate cancer is carried out in accordance with the eighth edition of TNM staging guidelines of AJCC 2017.T1-2NOM0 is defined as localized type,and T3-4NXMX or TxN1Mx or TxNxM1 is defined as advanced type.Use SPSS software to analyze the results.Results:There were no significant differences in the demographic characteristics of 165 cases and 198 controls.P-value of the differences in the distribution of different genotypes of four SNPs(rs1512268,rs1016343,rs7837688,and rs7501939)between cases and controls statistically is significant(P<0.05).Maybe they were related to incidence of prostate cancer in Chinese Han population.In case group,there were no significant differences in serum PSA concentration,clinical stage of prostate cancer,and Gleason score among the different genotypes,and the P values were all greater than 0.05.Among the cases who have progressed to castrate-resistant prostate cancer(CRPC),the average time of cases with different genotypes from the initial diagnosis to CRPC has no significant difference.Conclusion:rs1512268,rs1016343,rs7837688,rs7501939 are related to the incidence of prostate cancer in Chinese Han population. |
