| Objective: To compare the effects of single radiofrequency catheter ablation(RFCA group)and combined with left atrial appendage closure(One-Stop group)on the quality of life in patients with persistent atrial fibrillation(per AF).Methods:The physical health(PCS)and mental health(MCS)of 84 patients with per AF who underwent RFCA and 102 patients who underwent on e-stop operation were evaluated by SF-36 scale before operation,3months after operation and 9±3 months after operation, respectively. Results: 1.There were more female patients in the One-Stop group(P<0.05),and the LAD,CHA2DS2-VASc scores and the proportion of stroke/TIA and heart failure in the One-Stop group were significantly higher than those in the RFCA group(P<0.01);2.The mean follow-up was 8.1±2.4 months. In terms of PCS,the 2 postoperative follow-ups of patients in both groups were significantly higher than before(P<0.01),and the increase of PCS in the RFCA group was more obvious than that in the One-Stop group(P<0.01).In terms of MCS,the RFCA group was significantly improved 3 months after operation(P<0.01)and 9±3months after operation(P<0.05).The One-Stop group was higher at 3months after operation than before(P<0.05),and higher at 9±3 months after operation than 3 months after operation(P<0.01).At 9±3 months after operation, the improvement of MCS in One-Stop group was higher than that in RFCA group(P<0.01);3.No significant improvement of PCS and MCS was observed in patients with atrial fibrillation recurrence(P>0.05).Conclusions:1.Both single radiofrequency catheter ablation and one-stop operation could improve the quality of life of patients with persistent atrial fibrillation. The former is better in improving PCS,while the latter is more advantageous in improving MCS.2.The recurrence of atrial fibrillation has a negative impact on the improvement of postoperative quality of life of patients. |
