The Diagnostic Value Of Bridging Integrator 1 In Patients With Heart Failure

Objective: To evaluate the diagnostic value of plasma bridging integrator1 in patients with heart failure.Methods:The study enrolled 72 patients with heart failure in Hebei General Hospital from December 2019 to December 2020,and patients with normal function were included as the control group.Basic clinical information was collected.Within 24 hours after admission,venous blood was collected to measure the plasma levels of bridging integration factor 1 and N-terminal B-type pronatriuretic peptide,respectively,and bridging integration factor 1score was calculated[CS= ㏑(10/BIN1)].The differences in CS value,NT-proBNP,Left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)and other indexes between the two groups were analyzed,and the Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)was drawn to compare their ability to determine heart failure patients.The correlation of CS with cardiac function was analyzed.Results: 1.Compared with control group,heart failure group had increased cardiac bridging integrator 1 score[2.85(2.60,3.20)vs.2.60(2.40,2.87),P<0.05].The level of NT-proBNP in heart failure group was obviously higher than that in control group[2140(830,6057)pg/m L vs.89(60,152)pg/m L,P<0.05].Compared with control group,heart failure group had decreased LVEF[42%(31%,56%)vs.65%(61%,68%),P<0.05],increased LVEDD[57±9mm vs 45±3mm,P<0.05] and decreased glomerular filtration rate[71.72(57.32,88.17)ml/min vs.90.20(82.61,95.80)ml/min,P<0.05];2.The ROC-AUC for cardiac bridging integrator 1 score was 0.675(95%CI0.587-0.763),for NT-proBNP was 0.983(95%CI 0.968-0.998),for LVEF was 0.929(95%CI 0.887-0.971).The combined ROC-AUC of CS and NT-proBNP was 0.982(0.965-0.999),and the sensitivity and specificity were91.7% and 97.2%,respectively.The combined diagnostic effect of CS and NT-proBNP was better;3.Correlation analysis showed that cardiac bridging integrator 1 score was negatively related to LVEF(r=-0.166,P=0.047),while was positively correlated with NYHA cardiac function classification(r=0.325,P<0.05).Conclusions:The bridging integrator 1 has diagnostic value for hospitalized patients with heart failure,but its ability to distinguish heart failure is weaker than that of NT-proBNP.The combined diagnostic effect of CS and NT-proBNP was better.
