The biological rhythm refers to the physiological cyclical process that occurs spontaneously within organic living organisms. It plays a broad and important regulatory role in human metabolism, psychological cognition and emotional behavior. With the rapid development of social modernization, the phenomenon of biological rhythm disorder has become increasingly serious.Especially in shift work and on-orbit tasks, long reversal of day and night destroys its own biological clock, which leads to a decrease in vigilance, and then affects the work performance. Therefore,it is particularly important to detect the decrease of vigilance caused by rhythm disorder and adopt effective countermeasures to improve vigilance.Based on mentioned above, this study designed a model of biological rhythm disorder based on sleep restriction experiment to explore the change of vigilance. The state of vigilance decrement was detected by psychomotor vigilance test(PVT)in this study.During the biorhythm modeling, the subject’s ECG signals were recorded to analyze the impact of rhythm disturbance on the autonomic nervous system,so as to prove the success of the rhythm disturbance model construction. In the vigilance detection section, the behavioral performance and EEG signals of the subjects were recorded. This paper analyzed the influence rule of biorhythm disorder on the brain vigilance, and then explored the neural mechanism of biorhythm on the brain vigilance. The ECG signal showed that the rhythm of the heart rate was significantly delayed after sleep restriction. This showed that the biorhythm disorder model was successfully constructed.Next, the behavioral indicators showed that the brain vigilance had a certain rhythm characteristic, and the disturbance of biorhythm led to a significant increase in the mean response time, resulting in a delay in the peak of vigilance.Compared with the baseline stage, the EEG power of middle and low frequency(alpha, theta)enhanced while that of high frequency(beta)reduced in the disordered stage, and the center of gravity of the power spectrum decreases.During the recovery stage, the high-band(beta)energy in the EEG signal was enhanced, while there is still a gap from the baseline stage.Additionally, the average aggregation coefficient of brain networks increased in the stimulation group, which indicated that the local transmission efficiency of the network had been improved.Additionally, the analysis of brain network based on PDC matrix showed that the average clustering coefficient of brain network had been decreasing during the experiment. The average path length of the recovery stage was slowly reduced compared to the disordered stage. In conclusion, this study initially explored the effects on brain alertness caused by biological rhythm disorders, and found that transient sleep recovery could not quickly eliminate the post-effects of rhythm disorders. It lays a theoretical foundation for the search of effective rhythm disorder confrontation strategies in the future.
