Research On The Impact Of Vaccine Safety On The Credibility Of Local Governments

The invention of vaccines is a milestone in the history of medical development.It is related to everyone’s life and health,and it is also related to the safety of the country.Therefore,vaccine safety has always been a key issue of public concern.The vaccine issue is extremely easy to touch the sensitive nerves of the public.Once a vaccine safety problem is discovered,the peopl’s suspicion and panic will have a certain degree of negative impact on social stability,and then affect the credibility of local governments.The credibility of local governments is of great significance for promoting social change and maintaining the political stability of a country.At present,my country’s vaccine safety incidents have occurred one after another.Each outbreak of vaccine incidents has caused the public to deeply question and worry about vaccine safety,and aroused intense discussions among all sectors of society.What has been exposed is not only the hidden dangers of vaccination.Behind it may reflect even more important social interest issues,and may even be issues that affect the stability of the country.In particular,the Changchun Changsheng vaccine incident that broke out in 2018 pushed the vaccine safety issue to the climax of public opinion,leading to a decline in the public’s trust in vaccine safety.Such vaccine safety incidents,in addition to the company’s own violations of laws and regulations,ignoring the moral bottom line,and other issues,there are also the improper handling of problematic vaccine incidents by the relevant departments of individual local governments,which exposed the omissions in the work of the local government involved after the vaccine incident,Which affects the credibility of domestic vaccines,local governments and related regulatory agencies to a certain extent.This study takes the frequent occurrence of vaccine safety incidents in Chinese society as the research background,and uses the Changchun Changsheng vaccine incident as a specific starting point to conduct a questionnaire survey to study the impact of vaccine safety on the credibility of local governments.This research first sorts out relevant research literature on vaccine safety,government credibility,and secondly establishes research hypotheses based on responsible government theory,responsive government theory,and new public service theory,and validates the hypotheses through questionnaire surveys and empirical analysis.The results show that the response attitude and content of the local government affect the credibility of the local government.Among them,the positive response of the local government will significantly improve the credibility of the local government;the more actionable responses of the local government,the higher the credibility of the local government;the more discursive responses and institutional responses of the local government,the credibility of the local government is not significantly improved;public opinion Supervision has a positive impact on the credibility of the local government when a vaccine safety incident occurs;the trust tendency of the people has a positive impact on the credibility of the local government when a vaccine safety incident occurs.Finally,according to the research conclusions,corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.
