Clinical Study Of Shenque Acupoint Plaster Combined With Acupoint Synthetical Suture Embedding In The Treatment Of Simple Obesity Of Gasteic Heat-damponess Resistance

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Shenque acupoint application combined with acupoint catgut embedding in the treatment of simple obesity caused by gastric heat and humidity resistance and to compare it with acupoint catgut embedding therapy.The aim is to prove the effectiveness of Shenque acupoint application combined with acupoint embedding thread in the treatment of gastric heat-dampness-resistance type simple obesity,and to explore whether Shenque acupoint application combined with acupoint embedding thread has synergistic effect in the treatment of gastric heat-dampness-resistance type simple obesity,so as to provide some evidence for the study of synergistic effect.Method: A total of 74 obese patients were selected from the endocrinology department outpatient department and the treatment center outpatient department of a TCM hospital in a city(from October 2019 to October 2020)that met the inclusion criteria.Using random number table method,they were divided into treatment group and control group,37 cases in each group.The control group was treated with acupoint catgut embedding therapy,and the treatment group was treated with Shenque acupoint application combined with acupoint catgut embedding therapy.Both groups were given diet and exercise adjustment.All data of the treatment group and the control group before and after treatment were recorded,including body weight,body mass index,waist circumference,hip circumference,waist-hip ratio,body fat percentage,TCM syndrome scores,safety indexes.SPSS25.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis to evaluate the clinical effect of Shenque acupoint application combined with acupoint embedding thread in the treatment of simple obesity with gastric heat and humidity resistance.Result: A total of 4 cases were lost during the experiment,and 70 effective cases were actually included in the statistical analysis,35 cases in the treatment group and 35 cases in the control group.1.There was no statistically significant difference between the treatment group and the control group in gender,age and course of disease,which was comparable(P > 0.05).2.Comparison of the two groups before and after treatment: after treatment,the body weight,body mass index,waist circumference,hip circumference,body fat percentage and TCM syndrome score of patients in the two groups were significantly improved compared with before treatment(P < 0.05).Comparison between groups: the treatment group was better than the control group(P < 0.05).3.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 91.43% and the total effective rate of the control group was 82.86%.The overall efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P < 0.05).4.Safety index results: In the effective cases included in this study,the vital signs,blood routine,liver and kidney functions and other indicators before and after treatment were normal.There were 2 cases of subcutaneous bruising and 1 case of diarrhea in the treatment group,and 2cases of subcutaneous bruising and 2 cases of paresthesia in the control group,all of which were normal phenomena.After routine treatment,the situation was improved without any other major adverse reactions and the safety was good.Conclusion: 1.Body weight,BMI,waist circumference,hip circumference,body fat percentage and TCM syndrome score in both groups decreased to varying degrees compared with those before treatment,suggesting that the treatment group and the control group could significantly improve the obesity indexes and the symptoms of gastric heat and humidity obstruction,with significant curative effect.Moreover,the treatment group using Shenque acupoint application combined with acupoint embedding was better than the treatment group using acupoint embedding alone.2.The total effective rate of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,so Shenque acupoint application combined with acupoint catgut embedding in the treatment of gastric heat and humidity resistance type simple obesity was better than simple acupoint catgut embedding therapy,indicating that Shenque acupoint combined with acupoint catgut embedding therapy has synergistic effect.3.Shenque acupoint application combined with acupoint embedding in the treatment of simple obesity caused by gastric heat and humidity resistance,with no major adverse events and good safety,is worthy of further promotion and research.
